I bought these curtains for my granddaughter's bedroom. I got the purple color. I'm very pleased at the quality of the curtains. They are heavy and will probably keep out the draft that sometimes comes thru the windows.
I originally bought the $26 eclipse curtains for my living room but because of the colors I decided to put those in my bed room and buy another set for the living room. The more expensive ones look a little nicer and shinier but these actually block out light a lot better than those other expensive ones. these are plain but they still look Sophisticated . I actually bought them to keep the cold out but it hasn\u2019t been cold so I\u2019m curious to see if they keep they cold out as well as they do the light. I bought the Ruby Red ones and I was worried they would be too bright red but they are a darker, more burgundy color which is perfect.
I gave this product 1 star ONLY because they are cute. However, the material is completely plastic. If you want to get the wrinkles out of it, you must put it in the dryer on HIGH heat (not low like the manufacturer says), and they will come out, but you will have some shrinkage on the sides. They don't look anything like the pictures once you hang them. I wish I hadn't bought them. I guess that's what I get for only paying 13 dollars for one curtain. I wish they had made them the way some of the other energy saver curtains are made: A mixture of actual fabric and polyester. Either way, I DO NOT recommend this product. Don't buy.
When looking for items at Walmart be very careful when picking items on sale. These curtains were on a sale rack and during check out I noticed full price rang up. After questioning clerk, manager was sent for and she said someone must have accidently put on sale rack.....
These curtains arrived folded into a tiny bundle, leaving deep creases and wrinkles. I spent an hour trying to iron out the wrinkles using a dampened flannel sheet, even though the instructions say do not iron. I wonder what the thinking is here...wrinkles that cannot be ironed out. Even after all my efforts, the curtains are a sloppy mess. It's a shame, because I like the color, and I do believe they help keep out the sun and summer heat.
Description of these curtains should be explained better and also have better pictures of front and back. Grommets are a dirty gold color which I didn't want. Cannot see the color or design in picture. I would like to know what I'm buying before I waste more of my time for people's stupidity who are designing these websites
I bought these curtains last February. Washed them last week on gentle cold cycle. Hung them wet. They all stuck together and a lot of the backing came off when we tried to hang them. Called Walmart but they would not replace even with original receipt! Buyers beware. Shame on Walmart! Said it was to long( 7 months) and when I asked how often you would wash drapes, they responded they had no idea. I wash mine twice a year, Spring and fall.
