The Ad For This Steelbook Showed DTS HD Master Audio But When I Picked The Item Up At The Store The Only Audio Shown On The Actual Item Was Dolby Digital 5.1....I Requested A Refund And Returned The Item At The Pick Up Counter. The Ad For This Item Was Not Properly Written And Should Be Corrected To Reflect Actual Audio On Blu-ray.
I suppose Limitless counts as an action thriller with science fiction elements, but thankfully doesn't tread worn out themes of outer space and aliens. The movie isn't perfect, as it wasn't written by people that use their brains to their full potential like our 'hero' in the movie. But they're easily forgivable because there is plenty of action and the actors give great performances. Bradley Cooper shines in this movie.
It's an extraordinary (and almost plausible) story, and we can only wish that the filmmakers had told it better ... a great cast and plenty of tension, action and gunfire, but unless you know the basic story it is rather confusing, jumpy and jumbled
Fascinating but often frustrating, this Australian co-production rips along at a frenetic pace with edge-of-seat thrills as the action hots up, but loses its sizzle by a jumpy, clumsy screenplay and direction
Happy that Walmart online made it possible to order this title and have it delivers (though for an extra fee) to my home so I did not have to go to the store to pick it up. Amazon did not have this title available for some reason, and Walmart online was the only place I could find it. It took a little longer that Amazon Prime to get it, but it came in the mail and in good condition. Since it was a title unavailable anywhere else, it was worth the extra cost.
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST OF QUENTIN'S FILMS -I THINK.\nTHIS IS FULL OF BRILLIANT PERFORMANCES,FROM GRIER TO FORSTER,FONDA AND KEATON,JACKSON AND TUCKER TO DE NIRO.\nWELL CONSTRUCTED STORY LINE THAT ENRAPTURES ONE INTO THE MOVIE...ESP. THE 'SHOPPING AT THE STORE' SEQUENCE.\nCOMES WITH PLENTY OF EXTRAS TOO.
Taxi Driver had a good cast but unfortunately, bored me. There was far too many scenes of New York sidewalkes and freakish individuals standing around without movie purpose. Sorry, this taxi had a flat tire.
The movies The Mission and Excaliber are my two very favorites. Both of which I have repeatedly watched.
I am not normally a fan of De Niro, but this part is out of character for him and he plays it beautifully.
The Mission is a movie that, once seen, you will never forget.
