I love this movie, especially the love song, I Can Dream About You. The actors were lipsinging, but the emotion was felt as if they were really singing.\nThe triumph of good over evil is always welcome, especially when those for good done give the bad guys the treatment they could have or deserved.

loading product information The jokes about the more calculating aspects of George Lucas's franchise are particularly telling. Remember, the Schwartz will be with you always.
The crew flings itself energetically through space in search of laughs, but it will never penetrate the galaxy where Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein traced their giddy orbits. |

pure genius. mel brooks cannot be outdone in this tribute to the space movies of boomer generations. right up there with blazing saddles and other great generational movies.Fun
Just a fun movie. The picture looks so much better than it does on DVD.

The best moments in this 1987 release belong to Dr. Steve Martin as a dentist with a professional yen for pain. |

I saw this movie. it wasn't that funny.Description is incorrect
When reading the description of the Directors Cut of Little Shop of Horrors, I was under the impression that it would have the original ending as well as the director's cut ending. This was not the case. In fact, only the optional ending exists on this version of Little Shop of Horrors and quite frankly, it's disappointing. If I would have known that the original ending was not on this DVD, I would have not purchased it. The description of the Director's cut version of Little Shop of Horrors is incorrect.I Saw The Play At Derby Dinner Play House

The special effects have moved on a bit since the 1950s, but this is old-fashioned Disney fun.
[It's] in the best tradition of Disney -- and even better than that, because it is not so juvenile that adults won't be thoroughly entertained. |

Frankly, Murray, Sigourney Weaver and even Aykroyd deserve much better.
Almost as sharp as the first film and only suffering slightly from the inevitable repetitions. |

We bought this movie for our family and some laughs. Not such a great choice. There are sexual innuendos in a bedroom scene that are pretty racey and drawn out. Highly offensive language in another scene were just blurted out so bluntly, it stunned us! My husband and I were very disappointed. I would not recommend this one for anyone with younger kids. This should be rated PG-13 for sure and or slap an updated warning for the language at least.
