Born in Brooklyn, Richard Foronjy began his acting career in live theater, performing in local productions throughout New York. From there, he became known for his character roles on television and film, often portraying a tough guy. He appeared in Sidney Lumet's Serpico and Prince of the City, and he showed off his comedic chops in Fatal Instinct and Man of the House.
