With 24 IR LEDs, it sees clearly up to 60' in dark
What our shoppers say:
False Product footage description
I just received this item and right on the packaging it states Night Vision Up to 50 feet not "60" feet as described by Wal-Mart. That extra 10 feet is a major difference and was the deciding factor in purchasing this item. I can't believe out of the 3 previous reviews not one person mentioned this discrepancy. I am hard pressed to believe that not one of them read the packaging. I am going to install it and decide from there if I will keep it but felt compelled to advise another possible buyer of this discrepancy.
Wal-Mart if you are going to describe the products you are selling then you should not falsify the product information and specification.
Realistic light effect of infrared LEDs (battery required)
3-axis bracket for flexible installation
Mountable
What our shoppers say:
Item is poorly designed
Battery installation is difficult - even if the unit is sitting on a table. The gasket separating the two halves is not secure and stretches across the battery contacts. When the camera is correctly assembled, the flashing light is not constant. Once the camera is installed on a soffit, replacement of the batteries would be even more difficult.
Good picture during daylight hours but very, very, very cloudy at night. IR cameras should gather whatever light is available and amplifies it to produce a watchable picture. This camera does not perform well at all.
