I bought this case on sale for about $15. They were around $30 in store. Gave 4 stars for value based on the price I paid (I rarely give 5 stars unless I'm simply blown away with a product). I don't think I'd pay $30 for it but that's just me. I wouldn't pay $30 for any skylanders case though so that's not necessarily a call on the case itself. The case is pretty well made in my opinion. The main issue I had with it are the vertical shelves. On the right side, it's set up for 3 shelves. On the left side, it's 3 or 4. They add in enough dividers to personalize the sections but I would really like the ability to do 3 or 4 shelves on both side rather than just the left. Other than that, seems like a good case. Has a Velcro front on each side so even when you open the case, the figures are still encased inside. Great because my little boy could easily knock them out when opening the case if the clear front wasnt there. Plenty of Velcro on it too to help keep it sealed. Im a bit OCD with the velcro (MUST BE STRAIGHT) so it can be a bit of a pain in that case but as far as simply closing it so it serves it's purpose, you can practically just flip the clear front over and press down. It's that easy to seal. People say the giants don't fit well but I managed to get Tree Rex and Crusher to fit. Takes a bit larger spot on the right side but they fit just fine. It came with 2 extra dividers for the left side but we cut them down to make the fit on the right side. Gives us 4 rows of 4 characters on the right side, 2 spots to accommodate Giants easily and 8 spots to fit characters that are slightly bigger than the rest on the right side. Works out pretty well for us. If you are in need of a case to fit a larger number of Skylanders and you can get this case for $15 like I did (order online and picked up in store), DO IT! Very happy with this purchase. Can't vouch for long term use seeing as how it was recently purchased and is actually put back as a gift (I messed with it to figure out the best layout for what we needed) but as far as I can tell, with normal use, I'd say this case would last quite a while.

What our shoppers say:
If you have the money....
Yes, this adds nothing to the game play. Yes, this is a little overpriced. Yes it does take 2 AA batteries. Yes, all the lights do is glow, no flashing, no nothing.\n\nBut, it does look cool and is convient. All the skylanders you need (about 10 to 16 including the giants) will fit on this. It keeps everything right close and they won't fall off a the table ledge.\n\nAnd, when you are done playing, you can just slide everything onto a shelf or under the bed until next time.
