I PURCHASED THIS GRILL FOR MY CAMPER. I PUT IT TOGETHER AND USED IT WITH NO PROBLEMS. THE SECOND TIME I USED IT ,THE HANDLE BROKE, THE ONE ON THE LID. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY, THEY SAID WITHOUT A RECEIPT, THEY COULDN'T HELP ME. I PAID CASH FOR IT, THEN THREW THE RECEIPT AWAY. NOW, HOW MUCH COULD A HANDLE COST THE COMPANY? I'M SURE IT COST A LOT LESS THAN MY REVIEW COST.

What our shoppers say:
Just What We Were Looking For
This grill is exactly what we were looking for...something reasonably light and portable, solid construction and great at searing meats. We wanted something that would take both 1-lb propane cylinders (for camping, the beach, etc.) and larger propane tanks (for use at home) and this is it but it does require separate purchase of a hose adapter in order to use the larger propane tanks.

Far more robust in construction than the standard Coleman RoadTrip LXE grill, it also has a thermometer in the cover that the standard grill doesn't have and is less expensive than the standard grill (I couldn't figure out why because it is better than the standard grill almost all the way around). It easily collapses to a small, easily movable and storable item and just as easily expands and sets up for grilling. Clean-up is easy and Paul Jr did a bang up job turning it into a great looking grill.

One disappointment is the low heat is a bit too hot so it cooks the food pretty fast. Don't turn your attention away from grilling or you risk it getting overdone before you know it.

I also don't like the fact that the hose adapter (for the larger propane tanks) and a cover couldn't be purchased from Walmart but they can be purchased at Coleman.com, Amazon.com, eBay.com or several other on-line and brick stores.

I'd also recommend purchasing the wheeled carry case if you plan to be traveling with it. It holds the grill and accessories and zips up tight. It will certainly help to keep your vehicle free of grease and it's nice not to have to pack everything separately from the grill.
This is a Christmas present for our son who does a lot of camping so we really don't know how to rate except based on their reputation Coleman usually has excellent products and we have used Coleman items in the past.
We gave it a shot. We have small crank out windows so we had to make a custom plexi glass window panel(takes the place of the screen) My husband cut the hole in the plexi same as the window slide has. Installed the hose into the plexi, replaced the window screen with the plexi and poof you have it. We can still close the crank out window and lock it when AC is not in use. We also have a clear view out the window. We will just leave the plexi-glass in the window for the season.
When there's' a will there's a way!
Purchase the Frigidaire 9000 BTU Portable A/C Unit to replace a 10,000 BTU Window Unit designed to fit in a "Slider Type" of window. Due to the fact I just invested a large amount of funds into having all of my windows replaced I didn't want to drill holes in the new window frames to mount the older A/C Unit. With this portable unit I was able to install the panel for the exhaust without drilling holes or using the enclosed metal window security devices by installing a piece of select pine in the window track to allow the slider section of the window to not only hold the exhaust panel but to provide security for the window. The new A/C Unit is being used in a living room area, I find it is providing the required cooling that my 10,000 BTU Unit did. If required I can also roll the Frigidaire Unit into my wife's sewing room which has about the same amount of square feet to provide cooling if she informs me it's to warm or hot. I haven't received my first electrical bill yet to see how much my cost will be, since I also had to replace my dehumidifier in the basement at the same time I installed the portable A/C Unit I figure there will be a noticeable increase even both units are listed as energy efficient. Would suggest this type of A/C Unit for anyone living in an apartment where it might either cause problems or one isn't able to install a window type of A/C Unit or for anyone who would like to have one A/C Unit that can easily be moved from room to room and installed with the minimum of effort as the window panel adjust without any effort.
I LIKE EVERY ASPECT OF THIS PORTABLE AC. IT IS EFFICIENT, SMOOTH, QUIET, POWERFUL AND EFFECTIVE. THE FEATURES ARE EASY TO USE AND UNDERSTAND. THE ONLY ISSUE I HAD TO OVERCOME IS THAT THE WINDOW ADAPTER DOES HAVE TO BE REDESIGNED BECAUSE THE DIAMETER OF THE HOSE IS BIGGER THAN THE WIDTH OF THE ADAPTER, THEREFOR IT WILL NOT SIT LEVEL IN THE WINDOW WITHOUT BEING PROPPED UP A FEW INCHES. ( see photo) NOT A REASON TO AVOID THIS PRODUCT, BUT A MINOR DESIGN FLAW. MY ONLY OTHER NEGATIVE IS THAT THE FRONT LOUVERS OF THE AC UNIT START IN THE CLOSED POSITION AND OPEN TO THE FULL OPEN POSITION EVERY TIME IT IS TURNED ON. THEN I HAVE TO SET THEM TO MY PREFERRED POSITION. I WISH THEY WOULD OPEN TO THE LAST POSITION CHOSEN, THEN THEY WOULD ALWAYS BE WHERE I WANT THEM. I WOULD BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN.....NO DOUBT.
Perfect for Tail-gating. I purchased the Weber based on the construction, reputation and warranty. The grill is perfect for Tail-gating, small and easy to assemble and clean. Cooks up 4 steaks or 8 hamburgers and 8 hotdogs. This grill has it has a great drip pan and easily wipes down after use with paper towels. Starts easily, handles wind well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great value. Will probably use it this winter over our main grill at home.
I bought a Commercial Cool AC unit less then a year ago from walmart. It broke in less then a year, making some horrendous noise from the unit when the ac turned on. I contacted their customer service department (in India) and they referred me to a repair representative called Appliance Factory Rescue. They came out, determined the unit is unrepairable and notified Haier. Here is where the problem begins. I have been trying to get a refund or replacement of my unit for two weeks now. I am disabled and it is very warm here. Everytime I call the customer service center to get an update they keep telling me that they do not have the right documentation from the repair rep. I call the repair rep and tell them to send it again. I call customer service and they tell me it is still is not right. I call the repair center again and they say they sent it again. BAck and forth for 2 weeks! This is despicable! My unit is broken. Finally they get the paperwork right and now they tell me they need more paperwork and it will another 3-4 weeks before they can replace it. Do not buy Haier products. If anything goes wrong the customer service is terrible and you will be out of luck. I am going to try to get a refund.
It works great in my bedroom. My bedroom is usually 15 degrees hotter than my living room. So far, I only run this at night because I can't stand sleeping in hot weather. Even with my bedroom door cracked open so my pets can still eat and drink, my room still stays cold. I would recommend this product to anyone.
