LED display panel and full-function remote control
What our shoppers say:
works great !
Very nice control panel and remote. Excellent stuff to vent through your window, which is easy to install. Puts out a prodigious amount of very cold air. Easy to move, but of course, you also need to move the window vent.\nThe only negative is that it is loud. The solution is to run it when you're not there.\nOverall, it really does the job.
This Grill is a piece of Junk. Porcelain lid began fracturing on it's own, without even touching it. The concrete weight in the base was broken. I was careful to unpack and assemble this grill. My neighbor was watching me assemble this grill when she said the porcelain began to fracture near the hinge that was installed at the factory. The weight in the base fell out into pieces when I carried it to my rear deck area. It gets worse! When I called Walmart.com, after several minutes going through all their prompts which seem to be designed to thoroughly frustrate any caller into hanging up long before getting the chance to talk to a human I was told my only option was to disassemble this junk and repack it into the original carton and tack it back to a UPS store and send it back. I asked if I had the option of ordering replacement parts and was told I did not. I told the girl at Walmart.com that I was taking this junk back to my local Walmart in it's assembled form and they could do whatever they what with it. Walmart dropped the ball on this one!
Nice grill especially for the price. Cooks even, side burner works good (only have used it once so far). Also like the covered area and double doors to hide your propane tank away. Only downfall I see, no where to hang your grill utensil. But I just use the side shelf.\nAlmost when picking one out at store. Look them over at store pretty good. Some of them seemed to be put together in a rush, while a couple others were in good shape.
A little bulky, legs fold up over the lid to lock it down for transport... venting isn't very good and tough to get coals going... but what do you expect for $20 at Walmart?
Pros: beautiful blue enamel color, convenient easy to clean parts, option of griddle and grill\n\nCons: The leg stands are poor quality, NOT easy to move around and a bit flimsy. REQUIRES cleaning after each use because it captures all the debris. Manual recommends you fill the well with water with each use. Expensive for what you get. You are paying for the looks and portability. It's not that portable as I find it heavy, bulky. Food took a long time to cook despite it being on the highest heat.
I bought this grill for my son as a house warning gift. While this grill has many great features like the drawer to pull our and dump the ashes and the good handles to lift, the metal is not that thick or sturdy. Which is why it has clamps to close to hold its shape when you carry it. The four legs look nice, but are only held by one short screw each. I anticipate this will last about 12-20 charcoal burns. I later found a better one that stands much taller, is larger, material thicker, and folds for easy storage for $5 more at a competitor.
Very sturdy, we really like the option of removing the grill and using all three burners. We used to have to load a grill and a two burner grill when we went camping, fishing, or entered cook offs. This combo setup makes life easier. Would have liked a wind block built in, however we have a home made one that will work.
got this via mail and boy do I wish I bought a different one. the vent is on the top and if you try to point it at yourself it closes the vents so basically your cooling your ceiling. I wouldn't recommend this. get one where the vent is on the front not the top.
Why people are reviewing the 14,000 BTU model when this IS the 12,000 BTU model is BEYOND me! I bought the 12,000 BTU MODEL (this one) and it meets my every expectation with an A+! The unit is not louder than you would expect from a 12,000 BTU A\/C. I use it to cool 2 bedrooms and it does the job, EXCELLENT.
