After reading other reviews, I was worried somewhat over getting a dented up grill, especially when the box I bought was scuffed up and tore, but still intact (Last two in stock, Had no choice on a Black Friday deal). BUT I'm very happy to report NO DENTS, the grill was well packaged. Took me about one and a half hours to assemble, very well laid out instructions and the nuts and bolts were sealed up in a lettered system container that a 5 year old could easily figure out. Really love the simplicity of this grill, cleaning up is a breeze. The metal is thin as others have reported, But for what I paid for it, I can not complain. Love my new grill!
The heat plate\/heat shield, the part that covers the gas burners will rust very quickly. To replace it, it will cost almost $50 with shipping. Without the heat plate your cooking experience will not be good. The heat plate is made out of very weak metal (you can physically bend it). Be ready for customer service (Blue Rhino\/Uniflame parts department) to place blame on you because you didn't clean the heat plate properly. They are trained to ask you, \"How did you clean it\"? The correct answer is soap, water and towel dried. They will send you a new heat plate (one time only) if your grill is out of warranty but, you will have to pay a little bit over $11 for shipping. I am waiting over 2 months to receive my heat plate because they had none in stock. I wonder why they didn't have any in stock? Go figure!\n\nMy heat plate is on its way. Hooray! I'm going to sell the grill and get something a little bit better.\n\nAll of these grills have the same problem with their heat shields\/heat plates. That includes the side burner grills. By the way, my grill has always been covered since purchase.\n\nThis is a very temporary grill. The pics show what to expect in a short period of time. The heat plate tore apart in my hands as it tried to remove it. I stopped cleaning it months ago because it could not be physically handled.\n\nThe grill cooks good and is cheap but, who wants to invest money in a grill every 6 months to a year. Good luck on your grill searching!
This grill is replacing my 10 year old table top\/tail gate grill that I also purchased at WalMart. The last one held up so well that of course I wanted to replace it with the same model. Altho' there are some cosmetic differences, this grill has the same grilling area and dual grates. It heats very well, it is easy to control the temperature and for our application is perfect. It doesn't take up much space, is easily stored and has plenty of cooking\/warming space for meals for 2 - 4 people.
Product is great, but the box it came in was severely damaged during shipping. It was crushed and had a hole torn in the box. Not sure if it was Walmart or the shipping company. I returned it at the local Walmart store for a new one because it was bought as a gift.
I was looking to replace my portable girl and fount this on Walmart.com Its best feature is that the legs fold up and lock the grill top in place, allowing you to carry it by the top handle. It is a little smaller than I'd prefer, but it is perfect for what I wanted. At $10, it's a great buy.
I purchased this unit to use with my RV, when attending dog shows, when I can't get any more than 15 amp. I am not able to use my roof top air under 20 amp, (31 foot class C), but this little unit is the answer!! Small enough, that I can put it between the two front seats, with the exhaust out one of the windows mostly closed, towels fitted around. I then make sure my sliding room partition is closed from the kitchen dining area to the hallway. This unit kept this area, #with 8 show dogs in crates) at any temperature I wanted. I was also able to run my 28 inch tv, and a heating pad for week old puppies, all on 15 amp!!!!! I just shut it off to make coffee, run blow dryers, etc. This was in 90 degree weather, and when it cooled down in the evening, I opened the partition to the back of the motorhome, and slept comfortably. The most compact unit I could find for the size, superb!! Without it, I would be staying at home, for the areas with 15 amp.
This is a Christmas present for our son who does a lot of camping so we really don't know how to rate except based on their reputation Coleman usually has excellent products and we have used Coleman items in the past.
Grill cooks well. Somewhat unsteady on its legs as they are just bent spring wire that is also used to hold the cover down during transport. The legs can hit gas regulator so care must be used folding & unfolding the legs. Since the regulator must be removed to fold the legs, it could be easily lost. The wire legs can slip during cooking if it's on a table with gaps on the top, like a picnic table or a plastic folding table. There is no bracket inside the lid to hold the regulator while the grill is being carried so it can bounce around the inside of the grill when being carried.. Fiber washers are used to isolate plastic parts, like handles, from hot surfaces. But there were only enough washes in the box to assemble the grill. The interior parts cards were dented and I noticed the fiber washers had been crushed. Half the washes fell apart when I tried to place them under the plastic handles. I had to stuff washer bits under the handles with a thin bladed screw driver. The side of the grill was dented during transport. The damage was not apparent by looking at the box. With the dent in the side, the cover does not seat on the grill body without jamming it in place. It was too much trouble to return the grill for the low price that was paid.
We've been though many a grill - big and small. None last for any amount of time. When you spend several hundred dollars, you expect to get many more years of use, but that is not always the case. With this little grill, we get portability as well as durability. Our friends have the same grill, and it has been in use for several years. We will expect to get that much from this grill. So far, our initial expectations have been met.

Perfect for Tail-gating. I purchased the Weber based on the construction, reputation and warranty. The grill is perfect for Tail-gating, small and easy to assemble and clean. Cooks up 4 steaks or 8 hamburgers and 8 hotdogs. This grill has it has a great drip pan and easily wipes down after use with paper towels. Starts easily, handles wind well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great value. Will probably use it this winter over our main grill at home.
I was really surprised at the quality of this little guy. I have a really large smoker\/grill for family get togethers but for just my wife and I this grill is perfect. The slide out tray at the bottom makes clean up a breeze. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.
