Have wide planked hardwood floors that have not been refinished for awhile. (house is recent purchase and I have little history.) Removed old rug that had been down for ages. Where the bubbly foam padding was not corroded, it was stuck to the floor and first had to be vacuumed, then scrapped with a nylon scrapper, then lastly washed with a plastic scrubby and Pledge wood floor cleaner Dilutable (great almond scent).\n\nOriginal finish was lifted in many places, but two coats of Pledge Shine finish (must allow first coat to dry for at least 16-hours.), restored the floor to better than its original finish. Used almost the entire bottle on a 12x24 floor.\n\nImmediately, decided to treat all my floors the same way, went to order the Pledge Future Shine and it was out of stock....
I purchased this product based on customers reviews and all I have to say is they must work for the company or someone in the family works for them. This stuff is Junk!!! Don't waste your money as water and vinegar works a lot better than this stuff. There was no shine at all to my laminate floors after using this product and i did the floors twice, I couldn't believe it just a dull like finish. NEVER AGAIN will I buy this product. The best I have found for cleaning and leaving a shine to lamunate wood floors is Bruce floor cleaner, puts this product to shame but like I said earlier you get what you pay for.
Nice light scent. Great value especially once diluted - one bottle will last a very long time. Cleans floors nicely and does not leave a noticeable residue.
