I was going to buy new blades for my other norelco, but it made more sense to buy this razor deal because it came with and extra set of blades. Now I have new blades and a set of spare blades, it was like getting a new razor almost free. Plus, this razor seems to shave better. Very happy.
I'm not really sure why but this razor doesn't give me a very close shave. I keep a cheap $16 portable Bosch razor in my car and have to use it every morning after I've shaved with the Norelco PT730. Unfortunately my cheapo Bosch razor shaves closer than the $50.00 Norelco. I wouldn't recommend this razor and I'm probably going to return it.

Not worth it
This product seemed great. Wet\/Dry shaver and body groomer. 60 bucks. And it's Norelco... Should be great right?!?! WRONG! The shaver (with only 2 heads) doesn't shave very close or very fast. And the body trimmer will work we'll 1 time. Then it will quit. That's just a fact. It's gonna happen. Don't buy it.
Razor was received five days (100%) later than promised. I returned the unopened package to local Wal-Mart store about 10 miles away. The store refunded about $140 of the $190 paid, but would not return the $50 I was charged for the Wal-Mart Gift Card. The two managers were very surly and unfiendly.\nI wrote to Wal-mart customrer relations to get them to credit the money to my credit card. Customer relations would not credit me as I asked , but did send me an email auorizing me to return to the store with the email and have the store return the $50 to me. I made another 20 mile round trip and it required both of the same two surly, unfiriendly managers to come to customer service and they did authorize the return of my $50 Cash which was done by a pleasant, friendly worker.\nI requested the surly managers to close my account with Wal-Mart as I will shop else where in the future.\nRequest my Wal-Mart account be closed and no more emails from Wal-Mart be sent to me.\nWillaim Paul Craig

I bought this razor because i haven't shaved in 2 months and I was nervous about going straight to a blade. After plugging in the razor it only took about 30 minutes to charge and was super easy to use. The adjustable settings (1,2,3,4,5,etc) were smooth to rotate between even after the first round of cutting my stubble. Most impressively none of the hair got caught or stuck so the entire shave from start to finish was smooth.\n\nGreat product and would highly recommend.
Got a Razor for Christmas 2012, while on Vacation in Florida less than 3 months old and in stop working. Never ever buy and Philips Norelco products again. When it worked it was a Great product . In Value it cost me about $60. a month to shave! VERY UPSET!!!!
I've used Norelco other low cost bodygroom shavers. I needed a new one and wanted something updated and saw the Norelco BG2040\/34 Bodygroom which had a lot of high review marks. I ordered it from Walmart for $69.95. It retailed for $90.91. I love the slick look; very modern. The stand is neat too and it feels good to hold. I use it mainly to shave, not trim, my body hair and it does a really good job.

The razor blades were cheaper to order online and have shipped to me than they were to buy in the walmart back home. I was also impressed with how fast they got it to me. It took only 6 or 7 days. The online projected arrival date was about 3 weeks. As far as the quality of the product, its everything I expect from norelco. I'm sure it will give great service and last me 6 or 7 months fefore a replacement is needed.
I use this for travel. Gives a close, clean shave. Does not require any electrical cords or charger. Runs on 2 AA batteries. Replaced an earlier, similar model that I used for a few years. New model is even better. Fits in hand easily, rotatating heads provides a great shave, comparable to full size razor. Comes with travel case and cleaning brush. Highly recommend.

Not what I needed.
This is 3 individual cutter head assemblies that go individually into the \"triple head\" which, in turn, clips into the top of the shaver body, just above the side-burn cutter. They are very sharp and cut well. However, what I needed was the entire \"triple head\" assembly. This was not listed and not available either on Walmart's site or on Phillips-Norelco's site. I couldn't tell for sure which it would be from the description. I'll get the \"triple head\" from my shaver shop (16 miles away), and keep these heads for later use.\nYes, I would recommend it IF THAT IS WHAT HE ACTUALLY NEEDS.
Tried my new Norelco razor. I got a fantastic shave. My girlfriend really liked it. I'd recommend\nthis particular razor to anyone. Not only will you get a close shave, but it's rinse able too.
I have had this styler for a couple of weeks now and use it right after shaving and on days I don't. It is really easy to use and cuts pretty close. It is fairly quiet, not the loud buzzing you get from other razors.
