What our shoppers say:
i spent so much money at the pet store because they said oh our food is the best well i got this and let my 2 guinea's try it. they loved it!! i had a little left over from the pet store food and when i would put that in their food plate my female \"flipped\" it and out the cage it went or they would hide it under their bedding, when i put this Purina in there they LOVE it they chow down lol. i hope this product stays because its so fresh my guineas love it and it has all the \"good\" stuff they need!!!!
I used to absolutely love this blend for my rabbit, and she loved to eat it! However, the past three times I have purchased this from WalMart, it has been infested with bugs. The first two times I though it was because it was kept in a bin outside, and maybe the packaging wasn't staying sealed well enough. Apparently I was wrong. I threw away all of the old, infested food, and completely scrubbed clean the rabbits cage, and cleaned everything that goes in it. I bought a brand new bag of this food and instead of keeping it outside, I poured it into one of those plastic cereal holders that are round with the screw on lids, and kept it stored inside the house. This container of food was not taken to where any bugs could've possibly gotten into it after that. Low and behold, I go to pour my rabbit some food a couple days later, and there's the bugs in it all over again! That means they must have been in the packaging to begin with. I will no longer be feeding my precious rabbit this bug infested \"food.\"
He hates that all-brown stuff. He is not keen on the fancy GP foods. This food he just loves. But he doesn't like the yellow corn pieces and leaves them behind along with some of the brown pellets. With Timothy Hay, really dark Romaine lettuce, chopped up celery (long strings can choke them), a little orange (vitamin C that they need), freshly diced up red apple, parsley, broccoli your GP will be in heaven with this product. Make sure you let him have the parts of this product that he really likes - don't force him to finish what he clearly does not like - that's cruel. Change his bedding twice daily or he will get infections on his feet (we know and the Vet is a lot more expensive than the bedding). Ours is 9 years old and going strong. Good food from Wild Harvest has been a key element. We nearly lost him twice. Bad house keeping on bedding. Anti biotics and nursing are key then. Just don't let it happen. Keep him clean, with fresh water and lots of good food and these wonderful pets live a real long time. Don't believe the short lives you see on the internet - that's lazy people who don't feed their pets properly and don't pay spotless attention to their cage environment.
