There are a few moments when the picture's easygoing pace turns into wobbliness, but these are insignificant compared with its many moments of shrewd insight into the lives of amusingly shaded but very recognizable human beings.
Christopher is so good in this quietly charming, Yates-drected tale of four high school graduates trying to decide what to do with their lives that it's a wonder he didn't achieve the heights of co-star Quaid. |

I am so glad to get this movie because I think my grandchildren will really enjoy it.Great Kids Movie
I bought this movie for my friends three year old for Christmas. It is a great movie. He loves it and his parents loved it. It shipped fast from walmart and the price was the same everywhere else I looked only shipping was free and I got it in a couple days rather than a couple weeks.Fun for the whole family
\"Cars\" is the story of what happens when a big city race car gets stuck in a small town. Entertaining for children and adults alike. Adults will also have fun spotting the celebrity cameo voices like 'Click & Clack\", Darrel Waltrip, Bob Costas, and many more. And gearheads will appreciate that many of the characters in Cars are modelled after real vehicles like Porshe, VW bus, Jeep, GMC wrecker, Hudson, etc...\n\nUnfortunately the 'deleted scenes' aren't computer generated or even animated, but instead are in 'storyboard' format (i.e. roughly skeched still pictures)\n\nThe Car Finder game is kinda fun. The game plays the movie and you try to find specific cars in a scene. The ones you find you can go back and get brief bios of each. Even the ones that were only on screen a few seconds have names and backstories.\n\nThe picture seems to only be a little better than the DVD version (when the DVD version is upscaled) so if you already own the Cars DVD, you may want to think twice about getting the Blu-ray (or at least wait until the Blu-ray is on sale). If you don't already own it, you have no excuse! :-)

Steve Zahn shines in Illsley's feature debut, elevating this eccentric small-town comedy two notches above the level of writing. Using the fish out of water format, this Sundance premiere begins well but then declines rapidly.
A charming fish-out-of-water romantic comedy, the modestly budgeted Happy, Texas more than makes up in heart what it lacks in splash. |

DVD arrived in perfect condition and ahead of the stated delivery date. Price was not too bad, considering that the price of DVD's is going down with the greater availability of the blue ray format. On the other hand, this pariticular movie is not easily available and, so far, is not available in the blue ray format. Still very happy with the purchase. Thanks.
