Pretty good considering it was only 6 bucks or so. I could cook rice on it in a few minutes and it is fairly easy to clean.
Ideal for outdoors or hurricane emergency where you may not have power but have a camp burner stove.
Although I think I might actually cook more with it just to see how versatile it is.
I ordered a whole bunch of these for a navigation class I teach. I've used similar compasses from WalMart in the past that worked just fine. These don't. They changed the design (made them cheaper) and now the dial sticks when you try to turn it, and moves by itself when you jiggle it around or put it in your pocket. NOT what you want when you are in the field. If you get one with a black ring around the dial, you might be ok, if you get an all clear plastic dial, they are pure junk. Stay away!
