Worked OK initially (although not as well as the one I replaced) but then started being hard to start - unless the lid was forced firmly and just right into the \"switch\" it wouldn't run. Now, after 5 months it has completely stopped working. Very disappointed.
I made the mistake of buying a battery-powered trimmer and the sound terrified my dogs. Afterwards, I bought a different style trimmer but it was hard to use and touching their paws seemed to trigger canine PTSD or something. It was torture trying to cut their nails.\n\nThe vet used a trimmer much like this one and I was impressed with how easy it was to use: you just hold the paw and cut (you don't have to guide the nail between the blades or anything). My dogs were initially traumatized but calmed down very quickly and needed little soothing when it was all over. The torture is over!

Waste of Money for ME!
If you are buying this not because the glass carafe actually broke BUT because the round part on the bottom of the carafe has cracked (common problem with these), don't waste your money. It is JUST the glass carafe and does not include the bottom of the carafe.....
Purchased the microwave, and tried it out with a potato. Burnt a black spot on the bottom of the potato while the rest of the potato remained raw! EXHANGED The second one didn't operate right out of the box. RETURNED ... NOT WORTH ANY AMOUNT!!
