I love the first Boondock movie so much, and saw the second one online. I searched every single store in town for the second one and couldn't find it anywhere! I finally came on walmart.com and they had it!!!!! Yay for walmart.com!!!!! :D This movie is absolutely hilarious, but has such great action shots, too! The price was right, shipping was fair, and it came very fast. I can't complain about any aspect of ordering this movie! :D
Lenny and Squiggy really let me down this time. I was never a huge fan of the first one to begin with, but they totally dropped the ball this go round. Not enough action, plot nowhere to be found, and bad acting by old and new cast members. Their heart just wasnt in it i guess. Hopefully part 3 will be alot better & barnaby jones will be in it. I really missed his part from the first movie. If you get it at all, buy it for the opening dream sequence. That pays for the price of admission anyway you look at it.
More interested in finding fresh ways to stage execution scenes than in finding meaning behind the human urge for self-appointed righting of wrongs, pic is stuffed with effects that have no lasting impact.
I guess the delivery donkey that left the Wal-Mart warehouse died in transit.\nPurchased 11\/08\/2013\nArrive at Sorting Facility 11\/13\/2013\nIn Transit 11\/19\/2013\n6 days sitting in the Sorting Facility? Did they have to make the DVD there?
ather than a by the numbers sequel, Director Guillermo Del Toro has changed the tone by not only significantly increasing the amount of action & fighting, but adding a little bit of humour into the mix.
I really enjoyed the movie. I think I liked the Knight of the Templar scenes the best. The little twist with who ended up being who in the end was really good as well. Great indie film that I think will end up being a cult classic!
This is a great film! I am a David Carradine fan so this is what attracted me to it in the first place --but what a terrific piece of cinema!!! It containes so many elements of many genres that it definitely has a very broad appeal to many audiences. It creatively blended a murder mystery, suspense thriller, touching romance, well choreographed fight scenes set in medieval times, weirdness, comedy, sexiness... The film is well acted and directed by Paul Sampson. It is an amazing feat for a first time director to act, produce and make Mr. Sampson's words come alive as he did in this film. It's one of those rare gems that compel you to watch it again and again as he adds so much nuance that you catch more and more as you watch it again. It would not surprise me if this becomes a cult classic as David Carradine, Billy Drago, Paul Sampson, Max Perlich and Udo Kier really delivered command performances. The film has beautiful scenery and keeps you on the edge of your seat... It also has some unique horror gore elements and many comedic moments --a tall order that delivered! It has a very creative, funny and endearing twist at the end. I highly recommend this film as it is very unique, riveting, entertaining and suspensful. Bravo!!!
This is a movie that can't say no to a melodramatic opportunity, and whatever verisimilitude inspired Paul Kimatian and Christopher Gambale to write a script based on Kimatian's memories of the gangs has been utterly lost along the way.
