Bought this game for my son and he just loves it. He can't seem to get enough. He just loves the fact that you can inner change the characters so easily without going through different screens to do it. You can just change them whenever. The only down fall is you kind of need different characters for different areas in order to best play the game. For the most part though it's really great!
I got this game as a birthday gift for my 5 year old son and he loves it very easy for him to play and he plays for hours. the only down point is once they get so far you have to buy new figures to keep going in the game but over all we love the game. i will recommend it to others
My kids are in love with the skylander games. It is helping them see more then just whats in front of them and has got them into playing games. I may regret that later, but for now its great. While it is not an interactive game, my kids can not just sit and play the game. Its almost like they are the character that they are playing with.
I sent this for his birthday. He was very happy and was able to use it with ease. He is 8. His parents did have to purchase another piece in order to use it. I was not able to determine that when shopping on line.

What our shoppers say:
I bought this product for myself on my birthday after I couldn't find the Guitar Hero drum set that I had my heart set on, (not knowing at the time that I could've went online and had one ship to the store- leason learned) I was at.\nI'm a video game player and needed a game what would keep my mind off not being able to have my family around for my birthday and heard lots of great things about the game. So, after years of saying how dumb that game was I find that I am now totally addicted to the game and play it all the time, even more then MARIO CART! I would have never thought that a girl like me would fall in love with a game like Guitar HERO.\n\nTHE DOWNSIDE -\nAfter 3-4months of enjoying my guitar I realize that I had a had time strumming up, (so disappointed) but thats okay, I can afford to buy another guitar (cause Walmart offer GREAT PRICES) but I haven't had to buy a new one yet, I can still strum downward and still ROCKIN' OUT !!!! :)
I've enjoyed many Cabela's games in the past, but with so many annual releases today, they just get worse and worse. I used to stomach the fast paced, force fed shooting scenes, just to get to the long, stalking hunts I'd come to enjoy. It turns out Cabela's 2013 Dangerous Hunts is 100% of what I didn't like in previous games. I'd much rather explore well designed, elaborate boards, stalking one trophy; but now we get nothing but repetitive, pathetically designed boards filled with gratuitous, schizophrenic bloodshed. If I thought I'd be killing packs of 40 lions in story mode I would have never purchased this slop fest. I feel so cheated, I will never buy a new Cabela's game again. I'll just play one of the older, better versions every couple of years. I think I'm done buying new games in general. I thought I could trust Cabela's to be consistent, but Activision clearly just wants to produce larger profit margins instead of quality gaming. While I'm thinking of it, the new gun is junk too. I'm tired of bruising myself with that thing.
This game makes no sense to me, but my g-nieces and nephews like it a lot. It is a good game for little ones to play and keep occupied, while the grown ups are able to have a conversation. I do actually get a kick out of those little \"Birds\" saying ouch when they hit a rock.
