I purchased this roll of magnetic tape to attach magnets to the back of small crocheted picture frames which have a cardboard backing. The magnetic tape is self-adhesive which is appealing, but it is sold in a roll, so the edges are curled and it makes applying it to my project more of a challenge because I first have to press it down on a hard surface to flatten it. I am also concerned about the long-term ability of the adhesive to stay on the cardboard\u2026 it doesn't seem very tacky and I fear it's going to peel off with minimal use.\n\nI initially tried using a one-inch piece of the magnet and it had no strength whatsoever, the frame just slid down my fridge. I then tried a two-inch piece of tape and it will barely hold the frame to my fridge, but it won't hold the frame to any other metal surfaces.\n\nI'm disappointed because I have no idea what I'll use this product for now. I will instead be purchasing small round magnets that have stronger holding power and will hold securely to a wider variety of surfaces.
I bought these for wedding favors. They are not as strong as the magnets you can buy at your local craft store. Although they worked they just just barely had the pull strength for my project. In short, I would not buy these again.
One of the things that made me get this was the fact that it came with a funnel. It helps so much when I'm trying to put some into a bottle. Be careful - there are so many little sparkles in there that if you spill even a tiny bit, they will be really hard to clean up.
