I read many online reviews before selecting this brand of robot. I did a thorough cleaning of my floors before letting the robot run its first cleaning schedule. When it was done I was aghast that it had an almost full bin of pet hair and dust. I run it daily and everyday it has some dirt. It is not too noisy- I watch TV when it is running. I bought this at Walmart rather than get one cheaper on EBAY because of the warranty. If you have to ship it anywhere for warranty work you will have to pay the ship. A Walmart warranty makes help available locally. This is the best investment in an appliance I have ever made. Wish I had done it sooner.

Our dog is shedding this time of year (May). We have the robot scheduled for every other day. I have to empty the dirt chamber after every two times the robot returns to charge it self. Our main level is about 1400 sq ft and the robot almost completes the entire floor after three cycles. Transitions very well from hard floors to carpet and back again. We originally had the standard beater bar and it developed a horrible random oscillation noise after a couple of cleanings. We now have the pet hair beater bar installed. Immediately noticed the unit is considerably more quiet and the horrible oscillation noise is gone. Though I have to clean the pet hair beater bar of hair about once a week running it every other day. Overall we are impressed with how well it covers the floors. The mapping of the rooms seems to work quit well. I did download the latest software for it. Very easy from Neato's web site and a laptop\/desktop PC. The latest version states it handles corners better. I believe it since I watched it before and after the software update. You can see the patterns in the carpet and there are no missed areas. Very impressive. Love the fact you can schedule the cleanings. It got hung up on an AC cord once. I moved the cord and that has not occurred again. I gave it an average for durability since we have only had it about two weeks. Battery life (power) seems to have been extended after using it several times. Hope the durability is there. Time will tell. One last item...when I clean the hair from the beater bar, I blow it out with my air compressor. I'm thinking the cleaner you keep it, the better it works.

Hello Wally-world people,\n\nSo first and foremost I am a legitimate purchaser of this Neato product and not some fake. I would like to mention that I really like this vacuum robot and everything works great but the only issue I have is that it doesn't get close close to the walls and corners, but other then that it's great... I would give this product a B to B+.
