I bought this book after borrowing it from the library. My family and I already eat healthy meals and limit our intake of animal products so the kickstart plan was easier for me to do than if I had been where I was years ago, a full-fledged junk-food junkie and meat and dairy consumer.\n\nI did the kick start program because I was starting to stray from my healthy food habits into the land of junk. The recipes are great and I have not tried one yet that I dislike.\n\nDuring the program I lost almost 5 pounds, putting me at my perfect weight.\n\nAs I mentioned, I already eliminated meat from my diet so the big challenge for me was the removal of eggs and cheese. The recipes provided were so good I didn't miss those items at all!\n\nI think this book is great.
