I bought 3 of these camera's. They are my first trail camera's I've ever bought. Easy setup easy to understand. All around great camera. I would recommend this camera to family and friends or anybody that is looking for a game camera.
I have 3 of these and have been very satisfied with all three. The battery life is amazing. I have not replaced the batteries in the first camera I bought back in September. I have thousands of pictures on the same set of batteries. The range of this camera is better than I expected as well. Great camera for the money.
Easy to assemble. Works as advertised. I string it up in the woods over a sturdy branch with two thin cables (not included in the product): one to suspend a pulley (also not included, but cables and pulley are easy to find at a hardware store), and the other to attach to the handle of the feeder and route through the pulley, for easy one-man raising\/lowering\/re-stocking. Suspended below the pulley in this manner, squirrels are also no problem (but the occasional bird grabs a kernel of corn now and then!)\n\nThe only slight disappointment: While the manufacturer's product description stated that the batteries are not included, the Walmart product description stated that they are included. They weren't.
I was not happy with the quality control at Moultrie. The fact that the IR flash did not function should have been obvious before it went out of the door. Before I purchased this product I had read a review where a customer had to return it for the same problem. Maybe I got his return.\n\nWhile we are reviewing let's take a look at Wal-Mart.com. One star might be generous for them. After being told untruths by one of the phone associates, read the play book by another one and finally being connected to a supervisor, I finally got the defective returned and exchanged. More\ntraining is required. jc
This fit perfectly to my feeder. I purchased this to replace the old worn out one that was on my feeder. It took a screwdriver and 2-3 minutes to replace this unit with my worn out one. Very easy to program and it gives you an option to display how much corn you have left in the barrel with setting how much you put in and it tracks how long you set it to throw corn. Didn't know that it had this feature and will come in handy without having to knock on the side of the barrel to gauge how much you might have left.
We own a moultrie game camera that has worked daily for 3 years and is wonderful. We purchased the panoramic last week and it does not work. After 2 days on the phone with Moultrie, they said it does not work and we should return it. We did try to order another thru Walmart but your system is locked so we can not select a shipping status. Tried to proceed to checkout and can not. After hours on phone with Walmart customer service they could not order it either.\nThe camera will be returned to Walmart today for a credit on our credit card. We will go to a sporting goods store and buy another one.
Had this camera for a year, after a day of having it had to return because it quit taking pictures. Got a new one and it worked for a couple months then only would take pictures every once in a while. Doesn't work in cold weather. Anything below 32 it quits.
This item was shipped to my home in a bag and stuffed into my mailbox. Once opened, discovered battery had exploded inside burning a coupon also enclosed. Could have been very dangerous! Paid $17, returned it to store, received refund and bought the same type of item in store for $9.
Feeder, bucket, funnel and batteries are ready to use
Pull the feeder out of the box and snap it together
