This helmet is exactly what I was looking for. I have a smaller sized head so adult sizes were not an option for me. The design is great and while it is youth sized, there is nothing about it that says \"kid\". In fact, I get compliments on it all the time.
This bike came packaged well with no scratches or other problems as some described. It was easy to put together. The bike itself is great and very cute without being overly girly. Very happy with the purchase. (And so is she.)
Front and rear caliper handbrakes, plus coaster brake
Scaled-down freestyle frame
What our shoppers say:
Good deal, good price
Our grandson is still on trainers on a way-too-small 16\" bike. I wante to get him a no-trainer 20\"bike with specal features like front and rear handbrakes plus coaster brakes to make the transition smoother. Unfortunatley, he's too short. So we gave up on the desired features and bought a cheap (smaller)bike that disapponted us all. THEN we saw this one and immeditely took the cheaper one back. It fits perfectly, has the double braking system, looks \"cool\", and has the perfect size transition...PLUS it has pegs for \"freestyling\" on the front (which HE really wanted). It also comes with trainers, but can be removed VERY easily. Also, it's made much better than the cheaper bike, and that makes me happy. We also bought \"Slime\" and thorn-proofed the tires since we livin the desert and thorns are everywere.
The bike is ok but never order a bike online - you cannot imagine the shape of the box - bike damaged had to return to store - the other bike was not damaged but all items had been opened and left loose in the box - I think that when walmart put together bikes that they use extra bikes for any missing parts and then send out the box with a good luck to putting it together. Just buy at store.
The box was delivered with holes in it. When it was opened and parts were checked, one of the four pegs were missing. The paint on the frame is all scraped off in different places. If you just touch the paint with your fingernail it comes off.\n\nThe instruction booklet is another joke, it shows a totally different bike, different handlebars, everything !!\nI have contacted Customer Service as to the missing peg with hopes that they can send a one rather than because I purchased it on line and this is a Christmas present for my grandson.\nI would recommend purchasing a bike at the store so you can see what you're getting.\n\nVery disappointed.
