I have not received the DVD I ordered on-line going on 2 and a half weeks ago. I am not pleased with this order and other orders I have made through walmart.com previously. In the past I have oredered other DVD'S but I gave walmart.com a chance to get it together. Baased solely on the fact that I really wanted this old but awesome movie, I decided to order again. However, this waiting experience was worse than previous orders. I contacted the local office on today to explain my experience, whcih has not been pleasant at all. In addition, I am a very valued and and highly spending customer and has been for the past four years in the walmart super-center located at 155 Louetta X-ing Crossing 77378. In fact, I call it my night club. I visit and make purchases in this store at least three times a week. I do not deserve this treatment, and other treatments that I have encountered. By sending this e-mail, with my repsonse, I hope to hear from someone regarding my purchases. I can be reached at 281-905-5240 to discuss previous experrince in full, and voice my total concerns. Please let me hear from someone as this really could make the difference in my continuing purchases in this store, and continue to be respected as a valued customer. Please let me hear from someone. Otherwise, have a great night. AlicHu!

This DVD Blu ray is a lot better and more features, extras than the vhs one! Not to mention the only thing that looks worth anything on our new HDTV's! No VCR or DVD\/VCR combo (talking VCR output only) looks like caca on a HiDef TV! That was the first horror of buying a HDTV! You will have to get rid of all your VHS collection of movies! And start all over again in DVD! The new remake of Total Recall is also excellent! You must have both and in Blu ray!
Love the movie. The Blu-ray movie looks grainy and is done in 16x9 aspect ratio, not in full widescreen. But, for the price I will keep it. If you are looking for a great restored film in Blu-ray, this is not it.
Purchased this item based upon the title.... that and it specifically mentions Casper Van Dien by name. Definately enjoyed the previous incarnations of this title, what could possibly go wrong?
First, the "movie" isn't bad.
FOR A CARTOON.
In an era that brings title like Pandora, one would think that CG releases would be of significant quality that one could not tell real filmed acting from CG.
NOT TRUE HERE.
For the avid S.T. devotees, this does continue the S.T. theme.
For one who actually expected there to be actual people that had been filmed augmented with Computer Generated special effects, I was VERY disappointed.
A pity that Someone else hadn't reviewed this... whatever it is... prior to me wasting my cash on the thing.
By theme: Comparable to previous efforts under the same title.
By content: Don't waste your time.
I am a fan boy of the Starship Troopers series. And although I am not really a fan of the art style for this movie as a whole, I found it enjoyable. I have to add that this movie does have some pretty great bug killing. I can honestly say that I have enjoyed this movie more than the third, and a lot more than the needlessly mentioned second title.\nIf you don't mind the anime-like approach, take a jump and try this movie!
Until now Bale's screen persona has been defined by a graceful athleticism; here his physicality is repellent, yet he carries the occasionally creaky plot of Scott Kosar's unsettling screenplay to a resonant finish.
Ambition is something to respect in an artist, but Charles Burnett's police-corruption drama The Glass Shield is such a maladroit piece of filmmaking that its weighty themes and sclerotic tangle of a plot end up making it a trial to sit through.
