a charming and touching movie and the unwanted relative who forces his way into his uncle's lives, it has reminices of their (two uncle's) earlier highly adventurous life and greedy relatives and the befriending of a lion in Tennessee (you have to see it to have it make any sense) and their is a real treasure---action-greed-friendship-loving a family member-adverturourous highjinks and overall admiration of two fun loving uncles-a good time movie.
It was sent as a gift. The first time it said left on porch could not find it anywhere. I called customer service after an e-mail which was a total waste of time. They reshipped it but would not mark it signature required . I don't know if it made it or not.
I purchased this movie for my boys as a Christmas gift. They had been asking to see this movie for a long time. At first I was hesitant being that the trailers I had seen were showing all violence. Also all the adult reviews had said the movie was inappropriate for young children and not a cute fun loving movie like the first Cars movie. How wrong those ratings were! We all sat Christmas evening watching Cars 2, and we all LOVED it. Both my husband and I knew the ratings had to be wrong, and were probably written based off of the movie trailers only.\n\nI would definitely recommend this movie to any \"Cars\" fan.
How can you go wrong with Sandra Bullock! By buying it at WalMart site to store. I went to Randleman, NC WalMart to pick up my order. I located the site to store pickup location, pushed the button to summons help and waited and waited and waited. I could see 5-6 employees huddled up in the storage area so I slapped my hand on the counter - they looked but continued to ignore me. I yelled \" You have a customer out here\" and once again they looked, did not say a word and continued to ignore me. I went to the front and asked for the store manager. The assistant manager showed up and we went back to the pickup area and no one was around so the manager took care of getting my order. She said she was sorry this happened but she could not do anything about it. IF WALMART DOES NOT CHANGE IT'S WAYS AND LISTEN TO IT'S CUSTOMERS THEY WILL FALL. Right now is the perfect time for a new (or Target) retailer to rise up, Watmart is in a position to lose big time. If a new retailer would come on the scene and treat their employees and customers like owners they would wipe out Walmart. I hear it from people all the time - I hate Walmart but there is no where else to shop.
The film is never less than engaging, though considering that the title The Prestige refers to the moment in a magic act that gives it its "wow" factor, it's kind of a shame that the ultimate "reveal" in the movie is a little too tricky for its own good.
I ordered this on Wal mart.com. It was a horrible experience!!!! I ordered it & received a text that it had arrived. I went to go pick it up & they could not find it. No biggie, I will go back in a couple days. I waited 2 days & went back. Still could not find it. Now, that is a problem! I talked to the associate and she assured me that they could find it. Within 24 hours, I received a call that they had it. I went the next day to find that \"No, we can't find it.\" That afternoon, a man called and said \"we have it.\" \"In your hand?\" I asked. \"Yep\", come get it!\" I ran to Walmart to find out that they had not found it & offered me a refund. I was devastated as this was my second order in trying to get this dvd. Calling another associate to help my frustrated mind eased somewhat as I found out this was the guy that had called me. He grabbed the dvd off the counter and gave it to me. I don't know how the lady missed it, but she did. Esp with the huge 8 by 10 page that had FOUND DVD FOR ______ in big bold letters. It was a tear your hair out situation, so just don't, ever.
