Not a 6'2 man's bike..short & gear shift is shotty
Overall an average bike nothing fancy but does the trick you don't want to spend $. Gear shift is shotty, changes if its not in the correct gear precisely(not all the time but enough to remember)
Solo tengo unos días con la bicicleta y ya se me rompió en pedal izquierdo,afectando la rosca,por que no me permite ponerlo para atrás. {SE LE CORRIÓ LA ROSCA}
Bike itself is pretty, but:
- the grips and saddle are quite cheap,
- on the picture it appears to be white, but it's cream color with sparkly shine,
- bike is VERY heavy, I have problems carrying it on the stairs or holding it up to put it on a bus bike rack (CTA in Chicago).

I like it overall, but I wish I could have chosen a bike with gears, because this one makes me very tired after a while.
I waited for the delivery, took days to arrange assembly (b/c "the bike assembly guy is delegated to stocking shelves today, we will have to pull him off the job"). Finally got word my bike is ready for pick up. Took day off work and then drove in cold, dark to pick up bike. Uh, not the bike I ordered. It was a Mantis but it was a freaky red/white with gothic-type graffiti all over it, I would not be caught dead riding. The seat red swirly became a bizzare white dot thing, the tires were FLAT and when I sat on it, the seat progressively (dangerously) racheted down 4 levels to the bottom. I nearly fell off. Customer service at the store could not help except to say, "well, we can re-order but there is no guaruntee what you will get next time, do you want a refund? do you want a refund?". Decided to take it up with walmart.com customer service who promised a resolution and phone call in 7 days. Did not get phone call, so called (45 minutes) and was told, "I can't help you, do you want a refund, do you want a refund?". At that point, I realized I would never receive the bike I ordered, requested a refund and have to wait "up to 2 billing cycles" to receive the refund (3 months after I placed the order). So, if you can deal with the poor customer service, the costly time delays and accept a poorly-assembled bike that is no where near what is depicted online and no guaruntee of what it will actually look like, and then expend a month in a vain attempt to receive what you actually purchased only to hear repetitively, "I can't help you" -- go for it. I finally gave up and requested a refund, I still await.
My sons last bike got run over by my husband (oops) so we ordered a new one.Just recieved this bike today and put it together which wasn't hard at all, just hold on the the seat bar or it will slide down into the hole!! Lol I saw someone elses review that said something similar. Its not as Yellow as it looks on the website, but its ok. The decals look like they were just slapped on, but my son has a bad habit of ripping those off anyway, so not really a big deal for us..lol. Overall Im very happy with the bike and my son is riding it all over the place!!!
We bought this bike without assembly and were disappointed to find that after 3+ hours of attempting to assemble it, we took the bike to a local bike store. The owner explained the fork was bent and the front wheel could not be attached. On christmas eve, no doubt. We were very disappointed, however, we were able to purchase a better bike at Walmart for only $10 more AND assembled. The Walmart employees were kind, quick and helpful when we had to run out at the last minute to buy the new bike. A+ for the employees and new bike. F for the Mantis Maya bike.
I didn't know it had been on sale for $35 (but out of stock) closer to christmas. The bike is solidly made, and a good beginner bike for 3-4 yr olds. Nothing flashy, but my son loved it all the same.
This product should be recalled asap as this has a major design flaw.
My daughter 3 yrs old was playing with this new ride.. her ankle got stuck in between the crank arm and the chain stay. poor little girl had to suffer nearly 3 long hours; 911 folks were there immediately; they had to totally disassemble the rear wheel and free up her limb. Customers please stay away from the product and save your little ones from the trouble (actually the mental stress). This happened on the other side of the derailleur (The derailleur acts a a guard on oneside but the other side is not engineered properly)
