Goldarned if the whole fool enterprise is not worth the attention of any moviegoer with a penchant for what one actor, commenting on another's Gabby Hayes imitation, calls 'authentic western gibberish.'
It's not the least bit scary or suspenseful but instead quickly grows tedious. The more you struggle to keep track of the constantly multiplying plot developments, the harder it gets to care who did it.
Only Lesley Ann Warren, as a tough-talking madam, finds an effective level of stylization, using her leggy physique and wildly expressive features to create a cartoonish figure that's funny within its own boundaries.
The movie is very good but the site to store service was horrible my product was delayed and i didn't get an e-mail about it until the day it actually arrived. the staff had no clue nor the information needed to find and locate my movie. will Never use the again.
how can I rate it, if I have not received it!!!!!!
I am still waiting for delivery of my DVD Mixed Nuts, It was somehow sent to some one in Edgerton Wisconsin. I ordered it on January 11th, 2013. So I cannot review it unless by some miracle it FINALLY arrives to me in Mission Viejo,CA>
This movie is hysterical. Peter Falk is at the top of his game here with so many wonderful stars supporting him. I would say that this movie needs to desperately be reformatted into widescreen as this full screen version makes the actors appear to be 'crammed into' each frame and half the time their heads are chopped off. So I would not recommend this format but I would recommend this movie. I am waiting for the widescreen to come out and I will purchase that. I did not realize that full frame would look so bad. This wonderful comedy deserves better as do all the wonderful actors.
