This book was a lot better than Nightfall! I have noticed a change in Damons' personality from the first book to this one. He is a lot more open about things, well at least towards Elena. The bad thing is in this book that Elena and Damon become a lot more "friendly", I should say. The whole letting him feed off her I can understand, so he doesn't go out attacking innocent people. But the other things, wow! My favortie part out of the whole book was at the end of the first chapter and beginning of the second chapter. I laughed so hard because I could picture Matt doing what he did and Damon doing what he did. Loved Lady Ulma, wish I could have actully seen the dresses and jewelry for the parties. I was shocked at the end of the book. Was not expecting that, things should be getting more interesting with Damons' new condition. I highly reccomend this book, best in the series. Can't wait for July 1, The Return: Midnight comes out! Yay!
This is the 3rd book of the \"The Hunters\" series following Elana and her friends, and the 10th book of the series. It is the wrap up book and brings us to the end of \"The Hunters\". Alot of good people die in this book, but then there are even more evil ones that die. (Yes, they get the bad guy). I was disappointed at the end. I couldn't tell of the series is ended or if it will go on. I enjoy reading these books and the world that was created by L.J.Smith. They are an easy read and keep the reader spell bound until the end. I can't wait to read the series again or the next installment of the series. Keep up the good work L.J.Smith.
This series starts out good so i do believe this book is good in its own way nothing like thetv series but i wouldnt recommend starting it because then you wanna know how it ends despite it being horrible i can barely turn the pages in the books to follow...read true blood or twilight much better or just watch the tv series!
The first book, The Fury was excellent. The things happening in this book were more intense than the next one. I feel bad for Damon because nobody trusts him (which is his fault in the first place), but at least he's trying, at the present. I thought there were a couple of funny parts when Elena is a vampire. I was laughing when Elena goes and sees Bonnie and Meredith for the first time since she's changed. She should have ate before seeing them (that would have been extremely akward). I wasn't shocked when I found out who the Other Power was kind of guessed that one too. The second book, Dark Reunion wasn't as good. It wasn't as intense as the previous books. The second wasn't as good because Elena wasn't in it as much this time around. Tylers' secret didn't surprise me because someone mentioned that in the show they think he might be that, so I was looking out for signs in the book, and what do you know he was one. The Other Power in this one did surprise me however. Because the Other Power in The Fury said that she killed this person a few centuries ago, but it makes sense that he lived and came in the Dark Reunion, especially since he's an Old One. Even though this book was not as good as the previous two it's still good.
