This is the third time I have bought this movie and it doesn't work!! It's get less then half way through the movie and then there is no more data! The movie stops and goes to the chapter list but only has part of the list there as the information is not on the disk. I buy movies from walmart all the time, in store and on line and 1 in 5 movies doens't work!
The colours are vivid, the detail incredible and the vocal performances, led by Foley, are fine. Happily, it works on both a child's and adult's level.
Spacey and Hunt create interestingly layered characters who are hiding parts of themselves from themselves. And come Oscar time, Osment once again may be saying, 'I see tuxedoed people.'
This movie is the type movie that all kids and many adults should see. It exemplifies how we should lead our lives. Pay it forward and it will ultimately pay you back.
I like the ending, and I like some parts here and there, but the movie overall feels somewhat boring to me. I think it should have been shaved down a bit because 2 hours and 20 minutes is superfluous.
As ever with gambling films, it's difficult to convey the thrill of winning at second hand; the human-interest complications are unconvincing and Spacey himself, I'm afraid, is a lugubrious and deadening presence.
If only director Robert Luketic and screenwriters Peter Steinfeld and Allan Loeb had not opted for glitz. As filmmakers, they're playing for very low stakes.
[It] gives us villains that, rather than being sympathetic, are well-argued and reasonable. It gives us heroes that, whilst idealistic, make immoral choices for their own betterment. Margin Call is complex, fury-inspiring, and thoughtful.
As Sam Bell, a man working alone for years in a lunar base on the darkside of the moon, Sam Rockwell gives his performance of a lifetime in Duncan Jones' directorial debut.\nBetween Sam Rockwell's amazing acting, Duncan Jones' intriguing script, brilliant theme, unique look, and Clint Mansell's perfect music, I cannot anything to truly dislike about this film.\nI consider myself a big science fiction fan, and I believe this to be the greatest science fiction film since 1977.
This was a very funny, Adult Comedy. It will have you laughing. These 3 guys together are crazy funny. I wouldn't let children watch this movie, do to the language, sexual content, etc. But if you want to watch a good comedy, check this film out.
For all the mountains of kryptonite ranged against him, you never fear for Superman or Lois Lane, never experience anything more intense than the fret of mild peril.
For an all star cast I have to say this is STUPID!!! I couldn't even watch the whole thing. My husband said the same thing. It is so bad that I will put it in the garage sale bin for $1.
