Its an awesome shower rod, our shower is really small and this made such a HUGE difference!! I am really happy with it, i received it today and mounted it myself. I have to warn you it is a pain to put up, it took me a while to get it, but not impossible a pair of extra hands will be handy i did without any help and it was really annoying, but once it was up it looks really good makes much more room. Get it now dont think about it twice what are you waiting for!! These are so hard to find!! I like that there is no drilling required! It is awesome i wouldnt mind buying it all over again!! I recommend it!
The rod is still holding up my curtains after a few weeks, but the rod is much weaker than I anticipated. I purchased heavy light-blocking curtains though - nothing light or airy - and the rod has to stretch across the full sliding glass door. Although it is still holding without screws or any hardware, the middle of the rod sways downwards quite a bit, and I am still surprised it's holding.
This rod met our expectations and looks very nice above our 84\" wide living room window. A few usage tips: The finials are a bit smaller than one would expect by viewing photos of the product. We were using rod-pocket curtains, which tend to bunch up above the rod slightly and take away even more from the impact the finials have upon the look of the rod. Because of this, I would suggest grommet-top curtains in order to extract the most impact from this rod. Also, be warned that the middle supporting bracket shouldn't be mounted at the same height as the brackets on either end, unless you want a bowed curtain rod. This is due to the fact that the brackets on either end use self-centering washers to hold the rod in the middle of the bracket, with clearance all the way around. The middle support bracket does not have self-centering washers, and relies on the bottom of the bracket opening to support the rod instead. I found this out the hard way, and had to drill a few more holes in my wall than I would have preferred. To avoid this, I would recommend mounting the middle support bracket about a half inch higher than those on either end...or mount the end brackets first, install the rod, and adjust the height of the middle bracket to level before mounting it to the wall. :) We are pleased with our purchase, but wanted to pass on our knowledge gained to other potential buyers.
Love-love-love these shades. Installation at first was a little tricky. But it was us not you. We just didnt understand the instructions at first. once we got it.....the rest was a breeze. After we installed them I took them down, ironed them as they were all wrinkly and put them back up. Wow.......they are just perfect.......

What our shoppers say:
Looks nice
FYI: This has a thick plastic screw on the fennel, which is difficult to remove. After working at it sometime I had to have my neighbor with his big strong hands remove it for me.
The rods that were to be used to extend both rods were the same size as the actual rod and did not fit inside. Rather than go to all the trouble to send it all back I used dowel rods that I had here at home. Of course they are not the same quality and certainly not the same color. Was disappointed that whom ever packaged my rods did not check that the extensions were incorrect.
