"Santa" brought this movie to my son for this past Christmas. It was horrible I thought, and my son wouldn't sit down to watch it, normally he will sit through the entire movie (if it's actually a good movie). The whole thing just seemed "dark" and "dreary" maybe if there were more "light" to it it may have been better? I popped it in one time, and that has been the only time he has asked to watch it, and he didn't even watch the whole thing, he asked for something else 10 min into it. It didn't "catch" me either.
I absolutely love Secret Life.. it is definitely one of my FAVORITE shows.. I love everything about it and I love all the characters. It's always very interesting and keeps me hooked from the first few seconds. Amazing show!!!
This movie is freaky. Period. The story seemed to have four thing going on at once. The main storyline about our character, his vision of Bronco, the low end production of Bronco, and the plagerized version.\n\nWalmart shipping was as always, can't complain.
The comedy is very unsubtle, and huge swathes of screen-time are given over to Fred Willard as a presenter on a dumb entertainment TV show - funny, yes, but not funny enough to justify the vast amount of time he is given.
...it's always a pleasure to watch this ensemble of gifted talents do what they do best -- be spontaneous and funny and surprising. What we get is a master-class demonstration of the distinction between comic actors and comedians who try to act.
