I really like this movie. It has one of the best voice actors ever. That is the one and only Patrick Warburton. I always search out his voice work. He makes every movie that much more fun. And this one is not an exception. It has good characters and a great story.
This movie is one the whole family can and should watch together.\nIt shows how each of us touch the lives of others and can be a lesson to all.\nA good example of the old Biblical lesson of \"as ye sow, so shall ye reap!\"
I regret this.\nI should have paid the extra $3 to get this movie WITHOUT the terrible sequel bundled with it.\nDumb and Dumber is great, though, don't get me wrong.\n\nJust...don't watch Dumb and Dumberer.
Dumb and Dumber, which features Carrey and Jeff Daniels as nitwits traveling cross-country, is a frayed string of gags posing as a movie. Carrey, though, does literal-minded doofdom with peerless enthusiasm.
I really only wanted this collection for the sake of 1 film, The Majestic, which is impossible to find by itself at any store. I knew the single film itself would probably cost as much as all 4 films, too, so I ordered it. Well, I watched all 4 films and loved them! I never saw \"Dumb and Dumber\" and didnt think I'd like it, but, parts of it were hilarious and I enjoyed it immensely. \"The Mask\" is a film I saw when it 1st came out, years ago, and I had totally forgotten how well-crafted and likeable this film was! \"Yes Man\" is a funny and warm film and has a scene where Carrey sings an indie\/pop standard; sent chills down my spine. Wonderful! And of course, \"The Majestic\", the film I bought the set for, will always be one of my favorites. You cant beat this deal! The DVDs came in perfect condition. I chose standard mail and got my package much sooner than I had expected, too. I would say that I am 100% satisfied but I'm not! This collection, the cost, and the quickness with which all was delivered EXCEEDED my expectations. I did very well when I ordered this collection.
This version of the movie was excellent overall. The quality of blu ray speaks for itself but the subject matter of this movie was based on an even out of American History and for the most part is historically accurate. This Director's Cut version fills in alot of the blanks left open by the original version such as why the Confederates actually went in to Gettysburg touching off the battle. Even if one has seen the original version of this movie over 100 times I would still recommend it because of the additional material that is included.
I for one love History, and it is not always what we want to hear. I was very\nimpressed seeing and hearing just what each Top General went through regarding\nhis decisions. I could see that each man in authority was very compassionate\nregarding the giving and the following of said orders. Walmart what a price thanks\nfor caring.
Deer Camp is an experience unknown to a greater portion of the population. This is an amalgamation of every bizarre and quirky superstition and tradition one could imagine. There will be no middle ground on this movie. You will either love it or hate it.
With dyed hair and tattoos, Craig nails the incredible complexity of a man who juggles gentleness with violence. The relationship between Capote and Perry is overtly moving and there was a big lump in my throat as the final chapters played out.
To recreate the gossipy Manhattan arena that Capote navigated with such ease and documented with such malice, you need dialogue that rings like scatter-shot and the film's script, written by its director Douglas McGrath, doesn't have it.
