It's an extraordinary (and almost plausible) story, and we can only wish that the filmmakers had told it better ... a great cast and plenty of tension, action and gunfire, but unless you know the basic story it is rather confusing, jumpy and jumbled
Fascinating but often frustrating, this Australian co-production rips along at a frenetic pace with edge-of-seat thrills as the action hots up, but loses its sizzle by a jumpy, clumsy screenplay and direction
Gave this as a gift to my little brother for Christmas along with a bunch of other movies and he was happy! It was in great condition and if you haven't seen this movie it's worth buying at the price it is!
Perhaps we're pawns in an elaborate homage to excess and macho stupidity. It's purposefully - even wilfully - bad. Given that I can't prove that Simon West isn't actually that kind of wheels-within-wheels genius, he earns benefit of my doubt.
For those who thought you couldn't possibly gather more action stars under one banner, Mr. Stallone and company have proved you wrong and again with tongue in cheek humor often aimed at themselves, in grand fashion. Plot-wise, gadget-wise and of course explosion-wise, this yarn has set some new levels. For pure entertainment this is a must watch!
the first movie was great and i did not think the sequel would be better ( it was incredible) i couldnt have asked for a better action movie but here it is. it has more characters in it then the first one which makes it even more incredible and yes they all take part in the action.
