I watched all of the films on the first disc. The only good movie so far was Demonic Toys. The other three were like soft core adult movies, and even with that negative, the stories were terribly boring as well. I am just starting on the second disc, and having looked up reviews, I feel that it is safe to say that only 2 more are going to be good films. I felt like I was getting a good deal getting an entire 8 movies for $5, but in reality, I only got 3 good movies for $5. I really would not suggest buying this bundle.
I viewed the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen through my Vudu account. When I selected the movie through the HD selection format through Vudu, I expected to see the movie in full view of my television screen, not on my laptop. I wrote Walmart.com concerning the problem I was having concerning the format process and how error messages were displayed on-screen. To paraphrase, the error messages stated, I needed to make a lower format selection from my HD setting I ordered. I was not pleased. Nonetheless, I made the lower setting as suggested. The error message STILL would not NOT load the movie.\n\nI paid a visit to Walmart.com and entered into the web site to inform them about the error messages I was receiving. My first e-mail I wrote informed them concerning the format HD and SD accordingly and how I wasn't receiving any strong enough signals. I quit the web site for a half an hour and came back to the site again to pay a visit to see if there was anything done--nothing. Please bear in mind, that I had paid $15.08 tax included, for the movie.\n\nI quit the web site again and came back. I wrote a second time. This time there was a link for me to visit the movie through my laptop computer at Walmart.com. Watching the movie through the laptop was the ONLY way for me to receive my money's worth from a $15.08 purchase.\n\nThe incident was very poor service and I would not recommend purchasing ANY movies from Vudu until you receive adequate format technology support. You too, may wind up viewing ALL your movies through your laptop.
Remove "curious" from the title and replace it with "twee and pointless", and you're close to it. What a incredible shaggy-puppy of a movie, a cobweb-construction patched together with CGI, prosthetics, gibberish and warm tears.
Well first off it's just a great movie! Everything from the cinematography, special effects, the acting, and even the soundtrack was awesome! My cousin was fortunate enough to have worked as an extra in this movie which was shot on location in New Orleans. He was in the scene at the bar when Brad Pitt met his father! Pretty cool if you ask me and he got to meet Brad and shake his hand....he said that Brad was pretty cool and of course my cousin's fiance' said he could never wash his hand again...anyway this movie is at least a must see and for me a must buy and blu-ray is the way to go!!!!
Solomon Kane Is a great movie, a lot of action from beginning to end, this movie keep me glued to my computer, I wish they would make a second movie, it came out in 2012, I wish I could have bought on DVD. this is one movie I would add to my movie collection.
Great movie that tells small stories that all kind of get tied together. British accents are sometimes hard to understand if you are not used to it, (even harder when the Gypsys are speeking but as you will find they like it that way). This movie is definitly worth a watch even though it was a little more costly.
Creevy eschews the woozy, arthouse ambience of Duane Hopkins' Better Things - another portrait of a drug-decimated community - for naturalistic dialogue and performances within carefully framed and composed shots; properly cinematic, grown-up direction.
Good story with lots of action. Special effects are excellent. Very unexpected heroes, from a vampire to an invisible man to Captain Nemo, and lots of others in between. Get out the popcorn and beverages and settle in for an enjoyable family evening.
