I LOVE this series. I really like to think of it as a less-subtle prequel to \"The Wire\". \"OZ\" runs the gamut of every emotion; it is sad, frustrating, thrilling, incredibly funny and above all compulsively watchable. It's a little jarring at first, the first-person narrator (in a rotating glass cube, no less), the 70's style music and the very dated camera techniques. But give it a chance! This show is absolutely addictive, with amazing, grandly written story arcs and characters that will break your heart. It is really not for the faint of heart, the violence is really intense but a good deal of it (like sexual assault) happens off-camera. This is one of those shows you might actually find yourself flinching from or yelling and the screen.\nGood performances all around, especially Lee Tergeson ( who plays Beecher) one of the few actors I had not seen in anything before or since. Eamonn Walker, Kirk Acevedo, Dean Winters all brilliant!
Harsh Times is an hour-by-hour diary of two crazy, unreliable, irresponsible dudes trying to find a way to fit into the same society they hate, facing one hurdle after another until they appear to butcher half of Los Angeles.
This movie is all about the Homies\/Bros. I enjoyed this movie and its well planned out. I give this movie two thumbs up but you really have to understand the whole Homie\/Bro thing to relate to the characters and situations. Good action and awesome movie.
