Best Value Toy and Scratcher
I purchased one of these over 10 years ago, and several cats have used it for countless hours, trying to get the ball out of the toy. This product has saved me thousands of dollars as a scratcher. There are few things cats like to scratch more than cardboard. Amazingly the cardboard does last quite awhile because you can reverse the cardboard insert after one side has worn out; refills are available online and at most major pet stores. If you don't have one of these, get one when you can. Your cat will love you for it!

Pretty God, But Maybe For A Kitten
It's a good toy, and it keeps my cat's attention. We tend to be out of the house a lot, so he's at home by himself. He needs a toy that plays back with him, and this one does the trick. The only problems I have with it are:\n\n1) There's no off switch for the bird call sounds, and my cat hates those. I do believe you can unscrew the bottom and take the batteries out, however.\n\n2) It doesn't stay up. When my cat bats at the bird, he tends to knock the whole thing over. He's too strong (he's about 14 years old). I think a kitten would like it more since it wouldn't topple over. HOWEVER, my cat learned how to stand it back up, and it's very comical and very cute. So I still like it.
i got this for my granddaughter and she loves it.....the only complaint i have is that the treasure map is made out of paper and she tore it in 1\/2 within the hour of having....i ended up taping it back together and laminating it so it would last a little longer.....if it were made of plastic it would be so much more durable.....the headband is pretty well constructed.....she loves playing with the spyglass so no complaints about that.....

My son loves it!
My son recieved this as a gift for his first birthday. He is a HUGE Jake fan, and knows the \"tick tock croc\" from the show. He is now 20 months and still plays with this on a regular basis. I would say it's a winner!
My DS loves this toy. It met all of his expectations. However, I regretfully chose the site-to-store pick up option (so I wouldn't have to pay for shipping) and waited for *35* minutes for an employee to ring me up at the Walmart.com counter. Many employees passed by on their way to breaks; an assistant manager radioed in help- then vanished behind an employee door; and three other employees would not help (maybe because it wasn't their department?) This lack of service is inexcusable. I hate Walmart. Do not shop there.

I got this for my 10 week old kitten. (I actually found it on a clearance rack for $3) She LOVES it! I didn't even have to put a treat in the little ball. I don't know if it's the noise it makes, or just the ball rolling around but she loves it. Great buy. I'd buy it at the regular price any day!
