Fired it up and it promptly found and engaged with my home WIFI. I particularly like it that Walmart delivers for a reasonable fee. I live in the mid-west where it is about 20 miles to my nearest store and so home delivery costs less than the price of the fuel to drive.

Worth More Than It's Price.
I'm using this computer right now, which I got for my 16th birthday. I love it.\n\nPROS:\n*Crystal Clear Image\n*Light-up Keyboard\n*Touchscreen has no problems\n*Touchpad works flawlessly\n*Battery life is MUCH longer than the listed \"5 hours\"\n*Windows 8 is so much easier to use and more efficient\n*Extremly fast.\n*Dust and dirt don't show up on the beautiful silver shell\n*Easy to unlock if it falls asleep\n*Apps\/Games (Jetpack Joyride, Doodle God, Cut the Rope, and more and no internet needed)\n*Speakers\/Microphone work perfectly. (Very loud speakers. Mine are loud and only at 40\/100)\n\nCONS:\n*Right-clicking with the touchscreen is sometimes annoying\n*Windows 8. (Enough said about that -_- even though it's better with TS, it still sucks.)\n*Internet drops for about 10 seconds every now & then. (Might just be my Bright House because all the computers in the house, including my iPod, have the internet drops)\n*Pop-up touchscreen keyboard comes up at random times and it is really annoying at times.\n*Arrow keys too small\n*Certain installations that don't work with Windows 8 will have to be installed an alternate way
This is a really fast and sleek looking laptop. The i3 Processor is Amazingly fast and the hardware works great. The keyboard is easy to clean and the track-pad is very responsive, the led display displays beautiful colors. Also Windows 8 is the way to go it is a really cool operating system it is a huge difference that windows 7, It might take some time to get used to but the only problem that I have is you have to have a Microsoft account to log into windows 8.
This High-Performance vehicle is a Thousand dollar player, so it was quite a boon to find it for the price offered from Wal-Mart. With a top-of the line processor and deep memory simultaneous tasks are suddenly smooth; while also providing the effect of 50 gbs a minute no matter what tier your connection is...\nAcer is the mustang; no-nonsense (Win8 has enough frills) workhorse of the pc world. If you like Acer (and I do), this is their sleekest mode and it shows. There are almost as many 'Acer Components' as there are -Win8- features which allows for a high degree of Personalization.\n'Way' Recommended...

What our shoppers say:
Compared to similar specs, this is a great laptop.
This is a 14 inch screen but the laptop is more square than the typical 14\". I'm not sure if I like that aspect yet or not.\n\nThe Positive:\nThe screen is easy to read, the touchscreen responsive. The keys are laid out further from each other than other 14\" models I looked at. I have big hands, so for me that is a plus.\n\nOnce of the nicest features is the backlit keyboard. It's either on or off, but it's a subtle look and easy on the eyes.\n\nMine came with 4GB of RAM on a single module, which is easy to upgrade to 8GB.\n\nThe screen opens up to about 160 degrees, which if you use your notebook in bed while laying down, this helps a tremendous amount.\n\nCreating a recovery USB drive was simple and painless.\n\nThe recovery image was easily transferred to a new hard drive without problems.\n\nThis is a nice thin notebook and mine came with a VGA \/ Ethernet adapter.\n\nThe somewhat negative:\nThe touchpad takes a little getting used to. I cannot get precise movement with my large fingertips. Even with precision on, I still have trouble.\n\nI changed the hard drive from the stock 500GB to a 256GB SSD. This was not a simple process that the average user can do without the aptitude. So if you're not a handy person, I wouldn't recommend it #there are 4 screws under the keyboard if anyone wants to know#.\n\nOther notes:\nThe battery is really small, and Acer claims up to 5 hours of battery life, and I get 4 hours, full brightness, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth on. For its size, I'm rather impressed at how long it lasts.\n\nWith the SSD hard drive, it boots up from complete off to internet in 5 seconds. I believe the best upgrade one can do is to go with an SSD drive.\n\nAfter adding a 4GB RAM module #and the SSD# my Windows Experience Index #WEI# went from this:\n\nProcessor : 6.9\nMemory: 5.9\nGraphics: 4.7\nGaming graphics: 6.4\nPrimary Hard Disk: 5.9\n\nTo this:\n\nProcessor: 6.9\nMemory: 7.4\nGraphics: 5.4\nGaming graphics: 6.4\nPrimary Hard Disk: 8.1\n\nI hope this information helps anyone shopping around. Feel free to ask questions.
