If your an old fan of the original series be sure and take this for what it is and enjoy it at that. It's years and years of compiled Dark Shadows compressed into a movie with it's own bend and some humor scattered into the mix. It was entertaining. The sets are incredibly rich as always with a Tim Burton film.
This is a decent movie, but the description online states that it includes the Blu-ray + dvd + UltraViolet. It does not. It is the single disc blu-ray version. I have emailed Walmart customer service to discuss error two weeks ago. I have still not heard back from them or see that the description online is incorrect. Buyer beware if you are anticipating the dvd and ultraviolet copy included with this item.
I went to the store in Springfield, Oh. about two weeks ago, and ordered this DVD for my husband's birthday, on Friday, Oct. 25th. I paid for the order with my American Express card, and was told I would be notified when it was shipped to the local store, on Bechtle Ave., I received a notify Now, I am faced with a charge on my American Expresscation on my email and also on my cell phone, and was notified that the DVD had come in.\n\nI have been sick with bronchitis and unable to go to the store to pick up the DVD until today, Nov. 6th. When I went to pick up my order, I was told there was no order for my name on their computers, and I did not have the confirmation number that was sent to me. I came home to see if I still had the email in order to get the confirmation number, but apparently, I either deleted it, or it was lost. Now, I have a charge on my American Express card for the purchase price of the video, but no video! Is it possible to backtrack my order and find the confirmation number, so that I can either get a credit or another copy of the DVD?\n\nObviously, my recent order relegated this email response, asking me to rate my order, and history, but when I go to my Wal-Mart.com account, it does not show any recent orders. I may have used my Hotmail address when I gave my information to Linda, the associate who took my order, at the Electronics counter, which is email@example.com. The DVD was $7.50+ tx.
