The trouble with Harry, as becomes clear from this seventh and penultimate installment, is not that we have lost the plot -- the film is as tangled and as corkscrewed as Bonham Carter's hair -- but that we are in danger of losing everything else.
the movie is great. The method was terrible.\n\nConstantly was \"buffering\". I tried to pause it so it could preload, and not even that worked. It even buffered if I had to rewind - quite a pathetic an frustrating experience.\n\nI should have rented it from RedBox or Blockbuster Express. I won't download a video here ever again, unless they prove to me, free of charge, that their streaming doesn't stink and it's been approved.\n\nAwful experience.
I think it's the best of the series, fairly easily, and a testament to why occasionally throwing a massive budget at an endeavor of this scope can be considered a reasonable decision.
[Harry Potter] is now the lone beacon of despair for children in an increasingly pandering and brainless cinematic landscape; a Grimm tale that should satisfy the darker whims of imaginative children.
I ordered this movie for my Grandson, and he loves this movie. I watched it with him.. I thought it was great how I could get it much cheaper online by preordering it. I had extra money to buy him another gift. Thanks
This was a great movie. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton did a good job in this movie. Not to mention they are both very goodlooking. I loved the Plot twist.
Both movies are action packed from begining to end
I liked both films but the story line is more of a mature type story due to violance and several killings through out. The special effects in Sleepy Hollow are great. To bad it is in black and white, color would be more realistic.
I've been building up my Movie Collection,\nthanks to Walmart, and both of these were on my LIST!\n\nSleepy Hallow:\nalways scared me as a child but it was something you continue to rewatch!\nJonny Depp's character is so uniquely strange and cute!\nI love older movies because More time and deapth is put into the Plot!\n\nSweeny Todd:\nIts a horror musical, normally that wouldnt go well together but\nadd Jonny Depp and it all works out wonderfully!\nThe characters have their own strangeness and the music is amazingly different!\n\nGood price for the set, $5 each. And they come in separate cases <3\nGreat movies to watch throughout the year or just on Halloween! hehe
Johnny was great in the Pirates, but this...OMG it was ridiculas..The worst acting and absolutly the worst singing ever. It was gory and disquesting and I would not reccomend it to anyone with any taste. Horror.?? YES...the picture was always dark and rainy and nothing made sense. It totally lost me and the others "watching" it. I hope he NEVER does this bad again.
This was a gift for my brother and he was so excited to them this. He put in the first dvd, and it had a bad spot in it, so he had to take it all back, and I had to reorder for him, so I hope the next box set does not have any bad spots on them. Other then that what he did see said it was great, and the last dvd with all the information for the making of the Planet of The Apes was excellent and made watching what he could, that much better. So that is why I gave it the rating it got.
A powerful back story does not necessarily improve a movie, but The King's Speech has a pretty irresistible one. It might even end with a dramatic night at the Oscars in February.
This is an excellent movie you will thoroughly enjoy. Colin Firth does an amazing job, you forget he is an actor portraying a character. The entire movie is excellent, do not miss minute of it.
It's time for legislation decreeing that no one be allowed to make a screen adaptation of a novel of any quality whatsoever if Ismail Merchant, James Ivory and Ruth Prawer Jhabvala are available, and if they elect to do the job.
