I haven't seen these movies in a long time and had forgotten how good they are. I Love Whoopie Goldberg she is an excellent actress . Yes they are kinda corny but they will help you feel better about life cause they are so near the truth.
A wish fulfilment fantasy dressed up with a shopping spree, a gorgeous mountain resort in Europe, a world class chef creating new menus every day, champagne, exotic massage and health spa, snow capped scenery and linen to die for
Even though some scenes were added there are allot of scenes that were cut. Uncut should mean uncut. They cut the Hummer chase scene and the ending when you see the babies at about 4-5yrs old with Toorop. Very disappointed and will see about trading it for the theatrical DVD version. If you have seen this movie before on one of the pay channels then do not purchase this Blu-Ray. You will be disappointed. Take my word for it.
I had goosebumps from the very first moment, when Marion Cotillard's Piaf stands centre stage in New York in 1959, singing from her soul. It's an extraordinary performance from an almost unrecognisable Cotillard
Nick Cassavetes' first feature celebrates the acting grandeur of his mom Gena Rowlands, casting her in the lead role as a older woman who would rather stick to her independent lifestyle than be dependent on her kids; I wish the script were better.
