I saw this movie in 1967 at a movie theatre in Chicago. Loved it as a child and enjoyed it all over again but this time from an adult perspective. Filled with some great actors that make this movie generational. My sixteen year old son also enjoyed watching for the 1st time. If you enjoy older movies without all the violence and profanity than this is one you can enjoy with the whole family.
John Wayne is great in Hondo and the stars on this review are for him. I don't know why Jeff Bridges would associate himself with a knockoff of a classic John Wayne movie, but this attempt to push it by attaching it to a Wayne Classic should speak volumes as to how far below the mark it fell
