Reeves, with his beguilingly blank face and loose-limbed, happy-go-lucky physical vocabulary, and Winter, with his golden curls, gleefully good vibes and 'bodacious' vocabulary, propel this adventure as long as they can.
One disk had a slight clich changing between chapters (not that yours will). Each movie has a different style of widescreen. The bonus disk was so-so. All the interviews were with the two writers and Alex Winters mostly except for Keanu on one spot. Still the best way to go to get both (essential!) movies and a the Bonus disk is a bonus! Has a nice box too.
\"Cars\" is the story of what happens when a big city race car gets stuck in a small town. Entertaining for children and adults alike. Adults will also have fun spotting the celebrity cameo voices like 'Click & Clack\", Darrel Waltrip, Bob Costas, and many more. And gearheads will appreciate that many of the characters in Cars are modelled after real vehicles like Porshe, VW bus, Jeep, GMC wrecker, Hudson, etc...\n\nUnfortunately the 'deleted scenes' aren't computer generated or even animated, but instead are in 'storyboard' format (i.e. roughly skeched still pictures)\n\nThe Car Finder game is kinda fun. The game plays the movie and you try to find specific cars in a scene. The ones you find you can go back and get brief bios of each. Even the ones that were only on screen a few seconds have names and backstories.\n\nThe picture seems to only be a little better than the DVD version (when the DVD version is upscaled) so if you already own the Cars DVD, you may want to think twice about getting the Blu-ray (or at least wait until the Blu-ray is on sale). If you don't already own it, you have no excuse! :-)
Haven't seen all the movies yet, but the Blues Brothers has a lot of additional material! Considering that, it was a little disappointing that the parts with Danny DeVito, Brooke Adams, and others were still cut out of Car Wash. Non-stop laughter!
I Am A Huge Fan Of George Carlin And I Decided To Buy This Book And It Was Just As Funny As His Stand-Up (Even Though Some Of His Stand-Up Material Is In The Book). I Strongly Recommend This Book To Anyone Who Loves To Laugh And Doesn't Get Offended Easily. =P
