Not Walmart's fault. This DVD is a very POOR reproduction. Does not even look like a regular DVD let alone a Blu-ray. Picture is VERY grainy and unclear. MGM just seemed to copy it to a Blu-ray and marketed it as such. Our VHS copy of this movie is MUCH clearer than this Blu-ray dvd. Do not purchase it. Once again, this is not Walmart's fault. All Walmart did was deliver this to me.
The confused script trades in such heavy topics as alcoholism and child sexual abuse, but every dramatic scene plays like one of those schmaltzy Happy Days moments that inevitably drew a big 'Awwwwww!' from the studio audience.
For anyone who has ever felt lost on the path to finding their real self. This movie is darling, honest and affectionate. A movie to sympathize with. We all know (or maybe were that one) that was naively quirky and innocently awkward. Drew Barrymore is an adorable nerd who never quite fit in and is given the opportunity in her newpaper career to go undercover as a senior in high school for the second time. You will laugh, cringe, smile and 'remember when' over & over.
I Had H*e*l*l to pay with Wal Mart Staff to refund
I had to return this CD because it skipped, I had h*e*l*l to pay with Wal-Mart customer service staff to get my money back they kept saying it would violate the law to give my money back on a bad CD because I had \"opened it\", I said it was it was bad, they kept saying we can not give your money back as that would violate the law...I Said s*c*r*e*w the law, it was a bad law, (sort of like we used to have laws about slavery in the U.S.A., slavery was a law too, then) I said, I want my money back, over and over, I said I want my money back, and with all the money I spent at Wal-Mart on food, Items and don't forget drugs, with my wives Chemo, her drugs were at the $16,000 paid to Wal-Mart as of June, but they wanted to P*i*s*s Me off over $5.00 for a CD, I was ready to take all of my drug business to Walgreens where I already get some things because Wal-Mart can't get them timely, yes they wanted to lose me as a customer over a $5.00 CD.... But you know what, at my insistence I got my money back! All $5.00 + 50 cents tax. Wal-Mart hates to give money back! Wal-Mart employees are afraid of making a management decision on their own.
