Like everything about the safe except it doesn't bolt down to the floor. I had to run metal straps over the top and down the sides and secure them to the concrete floor.

Its a excellent safe, exactly what i expected, keep in mind this safe comes with a pre determined combination and you will not be able to change it but youll have a bypass key if you forget it. I currently is use my safe to keep my 3 handguns,ammo, sensitive info hardrives and important documents and I got plenty of space to spare. If you buy ANY waterproof safe make sure you buy yourself some Silica Gel(this safe 80 grams) to avoid moisture destroying your documents and anything in it.

After reading other reviews I was not sure if I should purchase this or not but decided to go ahead as alot of people find problems with their items because they are not smart enough to read the instructions before they use the item. That said, the safe works flawlessly from the key lock to the electronic lock. Very easy to set your code and easy to change it. Product seems to be pretty good quality and with a 5 year guarantee, you can't go wrong.
We are pleased with our First Alert steel box. Keeps important stuff together and of course cash. In the event of a disaster it is easy to grab and go..May get another one for pictures that could never be replaced. Wished it was little bit bigger so larger papers could just lay flat without folding. It works for us all the same!

If you're looking for a waterproof firesafe then I believe this will meet your expectations. I would have loved to see a few more \"security\" measures built into it.\n\nI would have loved to have the following options available:\n1. Purchaser able to change the combo.\n2. The description of this product makes you think that you hang a device or strip at several locations in the home and it takes samples of the air, similar to a radon testing device. This isn't really how it works. You have to obtain samples of the actual mold, carpet snippets, scrapings of the infested area, etc. and press the particles to a sticky piece of tape. This tape is then sent to a lab where it will be evaluated at an additional $10.00 each\/sample.\n\nI don't think the cost is a problem, but I do think the description of the product is misleading. It really isn't clear that you have to locate a source and then take a sample. The description make you think that you are taking air samples and this is not the case.
Good ladder for our use.\nWe have a 2 story office building that did not have a fire escape ladder.\nThis serves the purpose very nicely.\nBought it online and had it shipped.\nIt came within a few days with no issues.\nOpened it and set-up took less than 10 mins.\nI extended it out of the window and climbed down.\nThe first couple of steps were wobbly and took a little getting used to but the straps and steps were sturdy enough to handle my weight (250 lbs) quite easily.\nPutting it away was a little challenge.\nI figures out that the steps need to be in order to fit back into the box. (5 minutes to figure this out) :-)\nAll in all, a good ladder and great pricing as usual from Walmart.\nI would surely recommend this to a friend.

This Safe appears solid, however, shipping is not!
The Safe arrived with huge dent on the back corner in the middle (not on top or bottom). The unit came in the original box sealed and placed inside a bigger box. The top and bottom part was sufficiently padded, however, the areas in between has none, a heavy item such as this one can get easily damaged when dropped hitting the unpadded areas with a hard object or surface causing damage to the unit inside. I used "Ship to Home" option so I don't have to carry this heavy Safe but I got exactly the opposite as I had to carry this thing and return it to the store. I was refunded the purchase price but not the shipping cost. It was delivered by FedEx.
I will purchase this Safe at a store next time if I can find it at any store. The unit did look solid and I would have been very happy to keep it if it was not hugely dented.

The buttons on the keyboard are CHEAP and the keys are garbage! They wouldn't hardly work AT ALL! Not a good safe! I sent it back. I recommend spending a little more for the same size safe. Try a Viking biometric safe instead. They are much more sturdy!
The prices on Amazon were several dollars more per unit. Seeing how it took so long for Walmart to get the items, I would pay the extra money and get them from Amazon. Plus the fact you have to go into Walmart among the trolls to pick up the purchase.\n\nSave the taxes, get free shipping and go with Amazon.\n\nAn added bonus is that you don't have to deal with the dirt people in Walmart.

Does not automatically engage/disengage the pins
I thought after punching in your code at the key-pad that the pins would automatically engage/disengaged...this is not the case. The key-pad simply allows you to use the hard key to disengage the pins. In this case, why not substitute the key hole with a handle.
