What a lame game. I bought it because of the positive reveiews and the fact that I really love metal. Some of the metal themes were kind of cool but did not overcome the lame graphics and sorry gameplay. I returned this to Gamestop and got $5.
Please inform all the Walmart stores to remove this game:\nAPB: All Points Bulletin\nfrom their shelves. The company has gone bankrupt and the game will no longer allow users to log in and play, furthermore, it is an online MMO game and does not have a single player (offline) choice so the players can not play the game as it tries to access RealtimeWorld's servers to log in, and their servers have been down for over two weeks now.\nHere are a few reviews from well known game-info sites that could be used as proof that the game has come to an end.\nhttp:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/2010\/09\/16\/reports-apb-to-close-servers-tomorrow\/\nhttp:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/pc\/action\/apb\/news.html?sid=6276253\nTheir developer's main website (which you can see their logo on the CD cover) RealtimeWorlds is no longer: www.realtimeworlds.com\/\nEA games (Whom also has their logo on the CDs) has removed the game from their online store.\nAnd www.apb.com (which is also on the back of the game CD) is no longer.\nSo please remove this game from the store shelves, as it is costing customers around $50 to buy an unusable game and EA is only giving them through their live chat operators a $20 coupon code for any other game on their site store.\n\nI had bought this game last month at Walmart (In Whitehall, PA. Store #2145), while the game was still up and running, but up until two weeks ago, when the main website of APB had posted a bulletin staying their goodbyes, so I am one of the unfortunates that had bought it. (UPC code is posted up top).
It was ok, but nothing more than average. The graphics were decent and the rest of the game as well. I'm not really sure why it is called Dante's Inferno though. Because it is nothing like Dante's Inferno and is completely what Dante's Inferno wasn't. What I didn't like was how much sexual reference and nudity there was. It was ridiculous and over the top. I wasn't sure if I was playing a game or watching pornography.
My son wanted this video game and we could not find it anywhere. We ordered it online and it came in ,site to store, within a week. He loves the game and says it's one of his favorites. I am glad it doesn't involve shooting!
