The two main actors in this movie just make the movie so believable. Their acting, makes it look like they have been working together for a long time. I have seen their next followup to this movie, they stepped up their game. Beautiful acting in both movies.
This movie was just okay to me. I didn't dislike it , I just thought it would have more action , and comedy then it did. It seemed to be to slow moving between action sceens. Robert and Jude were great as always, just thought the movie had to little action.
My family and I love the sherlock holmes movies because they do not involve s*x or gory scenes. It certainly has some \"suggestive material\" and i think it may say \"d*mn\" or \"H*ll\" once or twice, but I as a Christian trying to raise a Christian family was not offended by these movies like I am by most action moves.
It becomes an entirely different film, one not really premised on the bad-superhero comedy idea, and the film is then oddly without a sense of humour, and its vague interest in satire vanishes completely.
Excellent film with a great story and message. I bought this as an upgrade to the DVD version that I own. Very satisfied. The only suggestion I have for Walmart is to take off the statement of it only being available online. I found this on the shelf when I went in to pick it up after it was delivered to my local store after ordering it online. The price was the same. I could have had it a couple of weeks earlier ~ no big deal.
You expect to get three movies on this Blu Ray set, and when you open it, just Constantine is in the case. I checked the disc to see if maybe somehow all three were on one... no such luck. So you pay for three and only get the worst one of them. VERY disappointed!
I had to view this more than twice to get it all when I first saw it. In light of the situations in both the UK and US concerning the NSA debacle, it is worth following closely.\nTha \"Future UK Government\" has never far from reality, since Black Baggting is a common form of terrorism over there, and was done to that Airman Moorfe very recently over here.
The Disappearance of Alice Creed begins with a van being stolen and ends with a different stolen vehicle being driven away. In between comes a tight, efficient thriller with just three actors and at least two whopper switcheroos.
