I have to disagree with the previous review. I am going to rave about it. This is the absolute best moisturizing cream I have ever used!!! I have seriously dry skin. I have tried many, many products claiming to help dry skin, but none has ever been strong enough to last more than a few minutes. My skin just seems to drink it all in and get dry again quickly. At times I have layered 5 different moisturizers just to try to get a lasting effect. This is the only one that has ever worked to make my skin feel smooth and supple ( not dry and taut) even hours after applying. I bought it on a whim, and now they don't carry it anymore in my store. I am so relieved to be able to find it here. Now that I've found it, I dont want to live without it!
I don't understand why the other reviewer had trouble with this product. I've never read similar reviews on the other pages. Maybe some unusual allergy?\n\nI'm 28 this year, dealing with painful acne, dry-flaky, red inflamed skin since my teens. Every time I dare to try a new product, it's either made my skin worse or I can't tell if it's really any better. The ones for acne inflame and dry the skin more, and the extra gentle ones don't seem to clean it properly. This product is the first to leave me refreshed while also seeming to balance my skin's PH. The best way to describe it is to say my skin doesn't hurt anymore. I don't feel like I need to pick (however carefully I try) at the itchy and painful breakouts. I don't fear a morning cleansing, or using it to wash off the occasional makeup in the afternoons. A tiny dab of the moisturizer rubbed where needed seems to do the trick.\n\nSince I have a combination of problems, I wanted first to heal the dryness and went with the blue line, face wash and moisturizer. I think the only thing left for me to do now to improve my complexion any more is to go on birth control. But I cannot say this enough.. It does not hurt to wash my face any more!! If you know the embarrassment of dry-flaky skin that does not even allow to you to apply make-up, this is really quite different from the other products you'll have tried until now.\n\nI do have a small complaint in that the packaging needs a bit of help. When leaving the bottle on the edge of my sink, the bottom sat in water and the silver coating on the plastic began to come off. I put up with this minor annoyance because I really love the product, but I think I will write the company to invest in changing there packaging! I think maybe they are new at the marketing end of things. Also, I would not recommend their make-up line. I use Cover Girl Trueblend foundation and their concealor with the blue cap. If you have dry-skin, avoid powders at all costs. If you have too much oil, it's probably because your skin is trying to repair extreme dryness, or else is too dry and damaged so that the oil is merely sitting on top of the skin.
