I loved this movie before I found and purchased it. I'm one that when I look at a movie I tried to understand what they are stating not so much the meaning of the movie. Great Action and movie and shows how a human being can evolve from what they were intially raised in.
I thought this illustration of the events in the Bible is holds true to the Bible itself. The movie is filled with scripture and does a great job depicting the events.\n\nNote that this movie is rated PG and although animated, it is not a Saturday morning 'cartoon'. Plagues are scary as is the wrath of God. I'm glad this movie didn't water those aspects of the Bible down. Although perhaps not appropriate for a 3-4 year old, I feel it is appropriate for a 6 year old especially when watching it with parents.\n\nThe video and audio quality is very good as well and I'm very happy with it.
The way this went beyond expectations was that this was the six DVD\/Blu-ray set and not the four as advertised.\n\nI have always loved the Heston movies and this one ranks just under Ben-Hur as my all time favorite Heston film. It's more of a coin flip decision on this ranking rather than do a tie for best Heston movie overall. It's also nice to have the original Ten Commandments in this set to do a comparison between the two features.\n\nOther than the minor problem with the broken tablet inserts (which was a fixable problem), I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.
The DVD was defected it did not play all the way to the end.and when I printed out the receipt for an exchange I was told that the store do not return it back.but they did give me my money back so that I could look in the store for another copy but of course it was not there and the person that I asked did not try and help me find a copy.So I did the next best thing I found a copy on EBay. Which was a win for me because I got it for $7.50 I paid Walmart $13.83! Which was the wrong price because when the DVD was being returned and it was scanned the price came out as $7.50 so I was charged too much for it from the start
This is a decent Asian horror movie. This is a lot better than the American remake. There's a lot more suspense and intense scenes than the American version. There are times when it gets boring and dull... but the suspenseful moments make up for it.
