Both my 3 1\/2 year old son and 5+ year old daughter love this movie and have watched it over and over again in the car on long trips. We first borrowed it from the library and they loved it enough to want to own it. Enjoy!
Though deserving of its esteemed status on account of the cinematic revolution it spawned, the feature itself is something of a relic. But since when isn't it fascinating to reflect on the fossils of the past?
Athough it hits any number of gaping credibility potholes on its careening journey around Los Angeles, Speed delivers the goods as a non-stop actioner that scarcely pauses to take a breath.
It's a claustrophobic dud, full of ludicrously purple tough-guy dialogue and lip-smacking vamps in bikinis (how hot!), with so much monotonous hip violence there's scarcely room for anything else.
Cool Hand Luke had a cast of great actors including Paul Newman, George Kennedy, and Strother Martin. Martin taunted Newman with the legendary line, \"what we've got here is...failure to communicate.\" It is hard to believe that both Newman and Martin have passed away. However, we can still enjoy their steller performances in Cool Hand Luke.\n\nMy only negative comment is the blu-ray picture quality could have been better. However, I still recommend the film.
A moderately successful guy's movie with both weak and strong elements where lots of things are brilliantly blown up and few things make any kind of sense.
This movie is very entertaining. He has the coolest boat! Made me want a sailboat, but raising the sail on our boats are much more difficult. Makes you appreciate what we have and dry land!
David Lynch's labor of love.\n\nThis can be a world view changing experience to watch.\nCan these things really happen in life?\nDisturbing and beautiful.\n\nThis is a MUST SEE.\nNot recommended for younger viewers.
