This is an excellent movie. I am a fan of Daniel Craig and he does an outstanding job in this\nmovie along with Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts. There is an unexpected twist at the end which\ntakes you by surprise. Very entertaining!
With dyed hair and tattoos, Craig nails the incredible complexity of a man who juggles gentleness with violence. The relationship between Capote and Perry is overtly moving and there was a big lump in my throat as the final chapters played out.
To recreate the gossipy Manhattan arena that Capote navigated with such ease and documented with such malice, you need dialogue that rings like scatter-shot and the film's script, written by its director Douglas McGrath, doesn't have it.
For fans of Horror and Sci-Fi this little gem has it all. Filmed from the dash of a police vehicle, it has a great feel of reality and that makes for an interesting ride. I won't give any of the films details, with the exception of the prom night gone crazy for one young girl. This is a great flick for drive-in night. Get it and enjoy.
