Sarah Koskoff's screenplay is flagrantly duplicitous, introducing the heroine as a self-pitying sloth, then trying to pass her off as likable by making nearly all the other characters drips, snobs, or unfeeling scolds.
I streamed this from an other site, but will probably buy it on dvd soon. It is your basic ROM COM but, has a hopeful message. It is probably not something guys would like but, who cares? It is worth a watch.
This is a great movie I first seen this movie when I was a kid. For those of you who hadn't seen it yet it's about a woman (Jennifer Lopez\/ J-LO) being abused by her husand. He didn't start out that way he changed during the marriage she catches him cheating and decides to leave him and he threatens her life and she's afraid to leave. She comes up with a plan to runaway, he hires men to follow her and she's fed up with his mess and tire of running she empowers herself by taking self-defense classes. I'm not gonna say what happens in the end, because that's rude. It's a good movie it's worth $9 and it was also worth $20 when it first came out. This is a movie that all women should watch.
